There is, under most circumstances, only way to enter Finitevus's lab in this particular zone without a warp ring. A deliberate choice which allowed him to monitor when others entered, even with stealth, and seal things off when faced with an intruder. Such as in this case when Lyco had made the mistake of getting too close to the heart of the tiny complex. Doors shut in front of and behind her as the echidna emerges from the warp ring to appear by her side, glaring at the wolf. "You've been separated from the rest of your companions, child. I advise that you disclose your purpose here is."

As a freedom fighter and especially as a secret fighter; Lyco knew there were higher risks to certain missions that her boss provided, however that never stop the wolf from backing down and refusing those missions; knowing it was for the greater good.

So when her boss gave the group the mission to explore a lab and gather information on it... Even possibly stopping any evil plan that were brewing within it; everyone (including her sister) agreed to it and set off to break into the lab....

Something that provided to be easy...

At least that what Lyco thought until she got a bit too deep into the complex, separated from her group... And that's when the door suddenly slamming right in front of her, which resulted in the wolf jumping back; clearly started by it, before she quickly whipped around to f ace the sudden appearance of the white Echidna.

She suckered her breath in, knowing she was in trouble, however she knew that she needed to remain determined and calm as well...
