I want to be a part of the Reckless cosplay group so bad but I'm so young ;-; I even live in the area

Hi there and thank you for your ask. We only accept new members from internal recommendations and a 100% yes vote from those inside. We do have group cosplays every con (mostly Homestuck) where we bring in non crew members to cosplay with us. This helps us fill out empty positions we may not fill otherwise. We also accept duplicates :) These groups are largely open to anyone except a few people who know who they are and why they cant join. Ask @leckless (aka Lex Reckless the leader of the Reckless Crew) for info on what we are doing next and how to join. I hope that helps :)
