In his room, Riku was reading by his wife’s side. The moment of calm that was between the two betrayed the energy that came when Black or White had finished. Still he looked towards his sleeping dearest, gingerly cupping her cheek with his free hand causing him to chuckle in memory over how it was the same thing that happened when they first met.

It was just little after the mess that had happened with Ryo and ZOOL finally getting rid of the man as their manager. Maybe a few weeks to a month at best, Riku merely found himself walking back from a bookstore with a smile on his lips at his newest collection he couldn’t wait to read. Yet he stopped in his tracks at the sight.. what laid dead center of the park was a girl with no other in sight, it prompted him to go over with no second thought. 

“Hey.. hey are you alright?” Walking over to her right, Riku knelt and looked at the girl with wide eyes at her condition. With a gulp of nervousness, the red head placed a hand on the girl’s cheek with a nervous expression. ‘What do I do.. who do I call?’

“.....” The sound of a voice caused her to groan, and the tender touch of another caused her to flutter eyes open however weak. It prompted her to raise her hand and place her hand on the person’s cheek. ‘Wait.. what..?’

Ya know I’m glad Everglow made that timeline video, more over since Union X/Chi/Unchained is finished and with Missing Link coming through, it’s nice to rewatch and see what the hell was going on while piecing together what happened to the key players things like that.

It was her. “..M-mhm.. but you do know the others might ask what happened?”
