A Week until con and I'm not done yet

Woohoo! Tucson Comic-con 2015 was pretty different than the previous two years that I've gone but it was still a blast! On Saturday I once again went as Harley Quinn and once again I re-made my shoes, this was one of the things that I've had trouble with when it came to my Harley costume, I just couldn't get the wings right! Buuut I'm happy to say these shoes came out exactly how I wanted them. d(^_^o)

For Sunday I went as Wendy Corduroy from Gravity Falls. It was awesome. This costume was a last minute thing, and by last minute I mean like two weeks before con haha, despite this I love how it turned out. I also learned how to sharpie dye a wig so that's cool.

I had a fantastic time at Sabo 2015!!! I had planned on wearing 3 different costumes (Natsume, Danny Phantom, and Haruhi) but I only ended up wearing Haruhi. The reason why is because I decided to wash my wigs a few weeks after Con-nichiwa and ended up having pre-cut wigs that I forgot to style and somehow losing my wig cutting scissors :/ Despite the problems with my wigs I had an amazing time, I even found other Ouran Cosplayers!!! Our group photoshoot turned out so great and we got stopped for so many pictures that our Ouran group is planning for a panel(and maybe something else) at the upcoming Con-nichiwa 2016! How cool is that?

Con-Nichiwa 2015 was my first anime convention and despite the similarities it had a different atmosphere than the Comic cons I’ve been to, I can’t wait until next year! I dressed as Haruhi from ‘Ouran high school host club’ and Natsume from ‘Natsume Yuujinchou’. We didn’t actually have to make the black uniform jacket, we found it at a second hand store for maybe 6 dollars, how great is that?!?The material for the Ouran jacket on the other hand was such a pain to find, I couldn’t figure out what color it should be! The wig I bought for Haruhi was a bit to dark and once I styled it, it turned really shiny but other than that it was great ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Natsume wig was really big on me so we had to take it in but other than that is was amazing! I bought it from Kasous cosplay wig shop on Etsy, They have a great selection of wigs that are good quality, reasonably priced and have pretty fast shipping so go check 'em out!

Phoenix Comic-Con 2014 was Amazing! There were sooo many people, panels, meet and greets, everything! For this Con I re-made my Harley suit (thank goodness!), learned to check the stretch on the fabrics if you’re making a bodysuit with two different colors (RIP to my 2nd attempt on the suit and the waist line on this one), and wore an umbreon outfit that I made from my stuff in my closet.
