my man has no socially violent personality, has charisma, thoughtful, kind -even though he experienced too many traumatic things himself as well- and still acts so innocent and good! to everyone! and open to talking things through rather than ignoring..

-it's been a while since I read the books so I may have forgotten some events/plots but I feel like the hype on him is not enough on "green flag book mens"-

We could've gotten him and Lucas bonding over being reds, and cole finally coming to peace with himself. Knowing and believing that he wasn't a monster.

Him and Liam finally talking things out and repatching their relationship, and eventually, with time, cole stops feeling so out of place in his own family.

COLE AND RUBY my sweethearts I wish we got to see their friendship continue to grow and bloom. To see cole side with ruby through everything, partly to annoy Liam but mostly becuase that's his gem, the person who was always there for him (platonically).

• SLOW BURNNN no but i have a feeling he would fight his feelings for her until he's practically in love

• imagining cole with someone who's not afraid to call him out and roll her eyes at him because we know how this boy can get sometimes

• at the same time she complements him so well? sees his kindness, bravery and reminds him that he's not the monster he thinks he is

• this is getting emo SO holy hell they're so competitive? put them in a basketball court and just sit back and watch. it's life or death. it's a battlefield. it's win or die.

• ALSO OFF TOPIC but the basketball lovers have claimed cole he played basketball in high school and would've played in college

• i have a theory that cole is a leo and leos usually are very competitive so that would work

• lots and lots of hand holding

• gf always taking over his sweatshirts and jackets because surprisingly she's always cold

• not a touchy person BUT loves cuddling with his gf who like i said is always cold and his power is fire so why not

• they love going camping because cole does seem like an outdoor person to me and she just loves being in nature in general

• bonus he hates the color red until he meets her. context: her hair are red

jude was afraid of the dark and being alone. he died in the dark alone.

Honestly I feel like it’s a mirror of Jude’s “If I cannot be better than them, I will become so much worse” mentality. I waxed poetic in my tags awhile ago about (this quote) and how it pertains to Cardan.
