So, my daughter, who is in first grade, gets to take out one book from the school #library per week. This was last week's selection, which she chose because I introduced her to the #animated series of both #Batman and #Superman and she then proceeded to watch each series, in it's entirety, multiple times. So, I'll conclude with two points: 1) she's awesome 2) I'm a great dad. PS This is just a compilation of six separate battles pulled out of their full storylines from comics ranging 1986-2014. My favorites were one in which two kids debate who would win in a fight between Batman and Superman. Unknown to the kids, Superman had overheard them and brought Batman to eavesdrop on the convo. I thought that was a pretty creative premise, as it embodies an actual debate among #comicbook fans. My other favorite was a fight in which the Joker has used a poison to control the actions of the entire #justiceleague and holy crap, the way Batman took out The Flash was inspired. And he beat Superman by LITERALLY BLOTTING OUT THE SUN. I did not let her read the the sixth and final battle sequence, because it was written by #frankmiller and I'm a great dad. No Frank Miller work was ever intended for children. Despite exhibiting the excesses of the 80's in an almost embarrassing way, that battle was still pretty awesome, and ended on a surprisingly hopeful note, for a Miller comic. I'd recommend this for any DC fans, it's a pretty cool compilation.
