“It’s nice to meet you in person too, Sir. You’re the Employee of The Year after all.” Nathan said genuinely impressed at Michael’s accomplishment. His company recruited the best of the best from all around being employee of the month let alone the year was a sure sign of not just hard work and dedication but of innovation and results as well. It was a accolade to be taken lightly. “No, no you didn’t mis all that much. We’re doing a bit of winding down but a party that lasts this long will pick back up in no time.” Nathan reassured him. The party was closer to ending than beginning but Nathan din’t want the other to leave or feel bad so he he stretched the truth a bit. The party would be going on for several more hours but Michael had come shortly after the halfway mark. “I have many new plans for the company.” Nathan said with a chuckle. “It’s always great to expand it brings more jobs and more employees and ultimately more money.” Nathan said with a wink. But he didn’t want to talk about work right now he wanted to focus on something else. “What would you like, for the company, and for tonight?” Nathan asked not bothering to hide his flirtatious tone as he asked about what Michael wanted from the party.

Even the hallway looked bigger than his entire apartment… That was the first thought Michael had when he entered the building on his way to the annual party held by the CEO of the company he worked for. He was a little nervous, mostly because this was the first party he attended in a while, and this one ought to have some important people around too. He passed by some of the guys he knew from work and he just gave them a smile before heading in. It was definitely the biggest party he ever went to, and he felt like just turning around and escaping. Being the employee of the year, he had a seat right next to the CEO, and even though they never met in person, he could tell from across the room where his seat was. Tall, handsome man was the only other person sat at their table at that moment and he approached slowly. “Good evening, Sir.” he smiled and offered his hand. “My name’s Michael Radwell, Sir. They told me to join you at this table.” he rushed the words out as if he would forget them otherwise. 

Nathan was absolutely mad about these parties. They were loads of fun and always let him get a little loose while also technically doing business. Even if that business was just schmoozing business partners and joking with employees. hell, it got them contacts and helped keep their employees loyal. Which meant that if he hooked up at these things from time to time then that was just business too. “i will, I definitely will. There just might be a future for you here yet.” Nathan said knowing a guy with this kind of dedication could be a real asset if used correctly. “Tell me, do you use the qualities professionally or just for pleasure?” Nathan asked wondering if he did it as a side job to supplement his income. “Oh, really? Jonathan being willing to cut his salary to keep his job showed real dedication to Erendale which could make him a great asset in the future if he was kept on. So, if he was that dedicated what what were these other qualities he din’t use on the job. “Well enough time has passed, we rarely get this place to ourselves, we usually have to stay at yours. I’d do literally anything to keep this job. Please, just consider it. I’m sure there’s something you would need that I could do. Nathan just sat there across from the other behind his desk and took him in. What?” Nathan said keeping his voice cool and calm even though his words weren’t. he was pissed and he wanted the other to know it. “Anything huh? Well what’s that? I’ll let you decide. Since you got yourself in this mess and screwed me over in the process I won’t set any terms for this. I’ll just leave you to decide what you’re willing t do to keep your job and if i find it acceptable than I’ll take it. Do you understand Jon boy?” Nathan said looking Jonathan right in his eyes for the first time since the finger had entered the room.
