I do have to say this: Almost all of the characters, and I mean pretty much everyone except the dad, yoshi and hannah, were, in their own separate ways, completely insufferable. Shira was extremely petty and obsessive, Kendra was an intolerable workaholic, Avi was in denial and unable to confront issues when they came up and Naomi was... a lot. But they were all very flawed in such a human way. And they were all still loved. And they fought with each other. And they tried to be better sometimes, but other times flaws are just flaws. Personality traits. They don't change and they can't. All the other characters could do was grow around them. For me that was the most beautiful part of the show. To be loved when you are not a delight to be around? A schnook is entitled.
