TTSBC RAMBLE TIME!!

Its been so long since I last did any fanart of this (I've been super busy first with lifer a day June and then now with artfight, my creative juices have been sqeazed almost dry - not completely though!!), and I HAVE been reading ALOT of TTSBC in the meantime (never stopped lol) so here's the buildup of my rambles:

I actually can't- I've been through such an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading your fic series. from anxiety rippling through my skin to giggling and kicking my feet in joy to full on biting my fist to keep from screaming to the darkness of the night to literally having to stop reading for a second to stare at the invisible camera in the top corner of my room. And honsetly? I've loved every second so far and always look forward to reading more ahaha! (I have that to thank for my messed up sleep schedule though going to sleep at 2.30am almost every evening is literally worth it graaahhh)

Okay so Zed and Tango are actually so sweet like actually. I love how the blaze rods and fire quirks in Tango's hair and tail expose him so much all the time lol. I also love their whole like vibe (the way their relationship started? that was peak. like actually so awesome I'd love to have started being friends with someone like that lol - *sends a note down to the undercity after a long angsty day at work* peak i tell you. peak.)

I actually nearly cried when Zed ripped his necklace off- I actually cant that was so sad and then Tango's reaction- no stoppp

I also love ace Pearl like shes such a vibe and i relate to her way too much on so many levels arghh. I love her and B's relationship. and also the soup group i love them and how soft their whole meet up thing is, like actually adorable.

Keralis and Xisuma are also so cute and I found it so adorable how Keralis has such interesting nicknames for everyone ("shashwamy" like awee)

I love love love your Grian and Scar. Like I would die for them actually. Theyre so cuteee they care so much for eachother and especially after that moment where Grian got shot (i had goosebumps the whole time from anxiety) And THEY SAID IT THEY SAID THE THREE WORDS ARGAHSGHAJS

I love their whole relationship, from the way their identities got exposed to eacjother, to their show they put of whilst being cuteguy and hotguy. So FREAKING CUTEE!!!

Now, I literally just finished reading your hella long, hella angsty Arc 1 finale (which is partialy a reason why im here rn ranting to you) and WHAT THE HELL AMETHYST ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?? WHAT THE- WHY THEM? WHY ALL THIS ANGST WHY BREAK APART THE ONE THING THEY BOTH WANTED ARGHH

That Arc 1 Finale actually had me CRYING REAL TEARS!?? THAT RARELY EVER HAPPENS EVER WHEN IM READING ANY FIC??? My anxiety levels must have been through the roof, actually.

I KINDA KNEW IT THAT THE DIRCETOR WOULD COME BACK!! I KNEW I READ THE FORESHADOWING CORRECTLY!! ARGH AMETHYST YOURE SUCH A BLOODY GENIUS >:]

The entire thing of sealing the rifts and putting artificial bedrock to seal the cracks?? Actually so smart. such an inteligent plot twist. ESPECIALLY AFTER HAVING GIVEN US ALL THE COUPLES LIKE THEYD LAST FOREVER WITHOUT ANY SADNESS OR BAD STUFF HAPPENING GRRRR

Chapter 8 of the Arc 1 Finale actually got me crying. The Snickerdoodle recipe that Scar gave to Grian as the cracks were closing? actually kill me now already. You had me shaking and sobbing at almost 3am and I was somehow so invested in reading that i wasnt even tired?? Oh my goodness. This will literally be the death of me.

Im onna start reading the one with scott after the breakup but lowkey scared for that. I feel so bad for both of them, they both thought they were in the right and doing wahts best for the other. Im gonna cry.

Im kinda worried about cub though, did he manage to get through on time? If so, what about scar and his hotguy skadoodler side job? Whos gonna help him and zed? And if he didnt make it through, whats gonna happen to him? Hes in the most danger of being found because hes got such prominent sensory issues that might tie him up in the wrong place, revealing him to the world?? And i know Scar’s always there to help him, but what about the chapter when cubs calling scar and scar just doesnt pick up?? What happened, why? Argh so many questions..

Welp, at least Keralis and Xisuma are together in the undercity. Honestly, I'd have gone down too if I were a human with a mutant/hybrid partner. No matter what. Bc who needs the sky when youve got eachother?

Anyways, thats all! Sorry for the massive freaking rant about your own fic (which Im pretty late to join, so all these questions and stuff are really outdated and alot of people already know the answers to these) but honestly, this is one of the best piece of literature i have ever read and its all so well thought through, storybuilding is so incredible, foreshadowing is just perfectly balanced between almost stupidly obvious and "OH MY GOD THATS WHAT THAT WAS FOR!", all the relationships are [/were :( ] so incredibly unique to each pair and it really matched their personalities so well.

Argh, sorry i got carried away again. Okay, this is it. Thank you so much for writing this amazing fic that im so freaking invested in arghhh.
