You know what I find funny? That there was a point in time where you had a best friend and you literally told them everything and now they don’t even text you to see if you’re okay or even text you period. It’s just weird how time changes things.

Don’t make promises like this, kids. You most likely won’t keep them. Not a character flaw, but people change and their needs change and their wants change. Also, no one person is really obligated to anyone other than their children. It’s nice to try and comfort someone, especially when you believe in the moment you’ll always be there…but think twice and be careful about what you say.
