itās so fascinating having rotating hyperfixations on things because i came back to my RAB interest as i was clearing out my ao3 subscriptions (also a sudden hyperfixation that started this year given that i have not actively read fic since graduation, especially not HP content) and realizing that the entire fanon consensus has shifted on him by so much. also in a way i despise so simultaneously itās extremely exciting to see this influx of new content on him (itās been 6 years since i read fanfic abt him š insane) but also disappointing since i disagree with a lot (essentially all) of it. it amazes me on how much a fandom can bastardize a character and make them as uninteresting and uncomplicated as possible.
#of course this should be expected to eventually occur to the canonically emasculated white teen boy#but i digress#realizing how fucking old the franchise is is honestly scary#itās older than me (horrifying) and people are STILL making content for itā¦#thereās also been a lot of work that has been deleted/hidden and itās simultaneously sad and completely understandable for me#fdith you will always be in my memories </3#alas that woman is literally evil and i would also not want to be associated with her in any way
