i should live in salt by @aanalytic - Dennis isn’t going very far, but he’s going. It’s more than he’s been able to do lately. He opens the map on his phone and punches in the name of some park — it’s just out of the city, and Mandy said she used to go there when she was a kid. His phone says the trip will take fifteen minutes, but from the driveway, it feels like a million miles away. (Read this and fell in love with the way the author wrote Dennis and Mandy. This fic has stuck with me ever since I read it.)

Blame It On the Summer Haze by @horrorgirlreads - Its the late 90s, Dennis is home from college, and the guys try and have a fun afternoon barbeque but Dennis ends up getting dangerously drunk and Mac ends up taking care of him, which causes them to come way too close to confronting feelings they'd both been supressing. (Love the way they're all written here, but especially Dennis. Also, summer is captured perfectly here.)

You Could Drag Me Through Hell by @horrorgirlreads - An emotional wall thirty years in the making comes crashing down, and all that it takes is an accusation, a few shots of whiskey, and Mac's latest attempt at moving on. (If you love angst, this is an absolute must read!)

Blood Brothers by @macdenkeepsmealive - Dennis finds out that Luther left in the middle of Mac's coming out dance. (This was so well-written, and just sticks with you afterwards.)

Feeling lonelier than ever in what can only be described as a hell of his own making, Dennis goes on a journey of self discovery. (This fic is filled with the perfect amount of angst and h/c. WIP)

(Aka, Dennis's throwing up worsens; expanding more on his disordered eating habits, and how Mac being fat affects it.) (Another well written fic that worms its way into your brain and stays there.)

Claim you as their own by @noelismi - Dennis wondered if it really could be that easy. He knew it was wrong, but now that he’d opened that doorway, he wanted to test the limits of what he could do. He wanted to know if every crow was as weak and easy to kill. Maybe he wanted to know if someone was watching, if someone would finally stop him. (Haunting and poignant, makes you want to wrap Dennis in a warm blanket and hold the poor kid.)

Blood in the Water by @the-real-thin-white-duke - After Mac and Dennis have a fight, Dennis is left to go to get his blood drawn alone. (This one perfectly encapsulates their relationship. Loved this one!)

Dog Days of Winter by @gaybishmac - In the midst of a winter storm, Poppins came around Mac and Dennis’ apartment for the first time since they started dating. (This one gives you all the feels and fluff and adorableness!)

An Increase in Sensitivity by @gaybishmac - Mac arrives home to find Dennis not acting like himself. As Dennis reveals a plan gone wrong, Mac has to decide if it's too good to be true. (Delicious smut and definitely worth the read!)
