friends !!

i’ve posted a few starter calls that i’ve actually been writing down and hoarding since,,,,,,,mid october ( whoops ), so i’m making a list here so you all know i haven’t forgotten you !! i’m also specifying whether or not i have a meme from the people that have asked for starters, so you know i’ll be using those !!

i am also listing all the replies i’m working on atm !! and memes !! it’s a lot !!

“I am not that great either, especially with the dances changing so often. I think we can have fun with it still though, and perhaps we will start a new trend as they say.” Thor says with a smile, as his hand was still extended.

“Who cares what they think. All that matters is you have fun! I can show you some of the finest moves, my friend.” Thor says with a smile, extending a hand out to her.

T’Charra can’t help but yawn as he slumps into the seat, sunglasses still on his face. He hates these meetings, regular check-ins with someone who’s pretending to care purely so they can report back to his dad about all of the trouble he’s getting into like it’s going to make him change his ways somehow. “Let’s get this over with, I want to go and get some more sleep.” He grumbles as he pushes his sunglasses up to sit on the top of his head, looking up at Betty with an expression that could only be described as bored. She might be perfectly nice and friendly, very helpful and whatever else, but the fact of the matter is if she’s reporting back to T’Challa about what he’s doing then she’s still working on his father’s agenda of fixing him, so how can he trust her?

she wasn’t a guidance counselor, nor a therapist, nor any sort of authority figure at the school. betty ross was a woman of science, and an educator. but she had a certain sensibility that made her more insightful, softer and more trustworthy to many of her peers. she wasn’t all about cold, hard, facts. she knew there was more to the world than that, and that meant that many of her friends and colleagues trusted her with responsibilities that were out of the field of science.

when t’challa asked her to keep an eye on his son, she was unsure if she was the woman for the job. but then it made sense; she’d been taking care of the people around her for years; this was a role she could easily slip into.

bruce squinted in thought a moment, “have i heard that somewhere?” he teases, though a rather bashful smile spread across his face. it has taken a lot to get to this point for bruce, so openly expressing all these feelings he was now certain were present, and not only for betty. between the two of them, he wrapped an arm around each’s waist, looking between them, meeting betty’s eyes, letting his eyes rest on tony after betty finishes. he tilts his head a little, eyebrows raised in curiosity, though a firm hand also on tony’s back, reassurance where he was sure it was needed, “there are a lot of good reasons to make this official, what do you think?” [ @posionhearted ]

“will you both just let me have my moment??” he sighed trying to sound as dramatic and hard done by as possible. it was moments like this that just seemed to make everything worth it, all those years of fighting, struggling. he would have taken on another hundred of them if he knew he was coming home to bruce and betty at the end of it. tony doesn’t miss the glance between them, of course he doesn’t. a brow raised in curiosity. “what? Have I missed something?” He asked before the two of them spoke again. yep he had definitely missed something. “we’ve already told the kids, how much more official do you two want? there’s not much left to do unless you wanna do one of those pointless interviews??” ( @rcdshvlk​ )

“I don’t need anything big, but something in the living room is off and I think an art piece might help.” Pepper explained to Betty as she walked through the art galley. It was put on at the school to promote the arts and help the students get their work out there, and Pepper was always interested in new talent. Looking at a few pieces, she smiled at her friend before back at the artwork in front of her. “Thanks for coming with me by the way.”  @rcdshvlk

❝ of course, pep. i love looking at art with someone who can appreciate everything i can’t. makes me feel like i’m learning something. ❞ while she considered herself an admirer of the arts, betty had to acknowledge that she wasn’t the most knowledgeable about the subject. she couldn’t look at a painting and imagine how she would frame it or set it up in her house. beyond looking at a picture and thinking it looked pretty, she couldn’t say much. ❝ what kind of thing are you looking for ? ❞

Klara considers this. Expressing herself like this was hard–fighting against a new language and sixteen years of being told she couldn’t feel at all–but Betty was patient and seemed to understand. “You think… I can unlearn what I was teached?”

❝ absolutely, ❞ she responds in a calm, assured voice. there’s no doubt in her mind. after all, klara isn’t the same girl she met almost a year before. ❝ i think you’ve started to unlearn that already. you’re different, klara. your own person. ❞

he hadn’t seen betty in months. perhaps it was due to quin being distracted with med school , the twins , sia , lysander and adjusting to his new life. betty was one of the only other people on campus who could relate to what happened. maybe not completely because she was red and a hulk and quin was green and an apathetic plant who came back with no emotions , but similar concepts. “ how long do you think it’s going to go on for ? if the twins keep on sleeping like this then they’ll never go to sleep tonight. “

he can feel his soft smile growing, and given the reason? he can’t find much of a reason to reign it in. so, Bruce Banner’s smile grows into a bit of a dopey grin. not only is he holding the love of his life ( a feeling he will never take for granted again ) but she’s talking about bringing the man who never really left Bruce’s head or heart closer to them both. Somewhere, in the back of his head, he hears an old-school priest chiding him for even considering such a thing… but then, whoever lives in love lives in god, and god in them. To Bruce? he could think of no better way to live in love than to build upon this idea.

“a brilliant idea, he has,” he glances at the abandoned envelope for just a moment before bringing his eyes back to Betty, “it’s a little unorthodox admittedly, but I want to see how it would work. our own little experiment.”

a warm feeling swirls in her stomach. she feels the same excitement that comes right before one takes a step into the unknown, right before changing one’s life forever. but she’s not scared. the excitement comes without the anxiety that usually accompanies it, because there’s no reason to be anxious. she’s perfectly calm, because it feels like everything is falling into place. unorthodox as it may be, this thing between the three of them, this beautiful, loving, supportive relationship was how it was always meant to be.
