Long, Long ago there lived Two Kings
A King of Gold and A King of SilverΒ
The Golden King ruled the worldβs knowledge in handΒ
The Silver King ruled the oldest kingdom in the landΒ
The Golden King taught cookies all there was to knowΒ
The Silver King guarded secrets with flavorless doughΒ
Allies they were, both gifted by the GodsΒ
Yet a Salt Shining Knight put them at oddsΒ
The was no cookie more fair and noble than the Knight
With great Solidarity he searched for a greater lightΒ
The Light of Freedom, a distant dreamΒ
But with great courage, it was possible it seemedΒ
The Knight searched for answers through the two KingsΒ
They happily obliged, but their encounters brought unseen thingsΒ
The Golden envied the knight in feelings of complex degree
The Silver sparked a deep bond which set the duo freeΒ
The Silver King was a knowledge gatekeeper
Beloved by all, though his heart fell deeperΒ
Into the loneliness of duty, but when shared with the KnightΒ
Their shared dream, made their hopes shine brightΒ
The Golden King bestowed knowledge like a fountain
But answerless questions burdened him heavy as a mountain
No matter what he said his subjects were never pleasedΒ
The horrible king with loneliness he was diseased
Centuries fell by, the golden grew tainted by deceitΒ
Fantasies of war to Silver kingdom never became concreteΒ
Jealousy of Faerie and Knight rot his heart wickedΒ
The good people had enough, in time he was convictedΒ
The Golden King lost his head
His cookies finally liberated once the crown was deadΒ
With the monarchy gone, good politicians took his placeΒ
Despite the good riddance he secretly escapedΒ
To another realm, to the Lake of TruthΒ
Many a time where the king was cleansed sooth
In one last attempt to find a divine clueΒ
Revealed: that truth were lies and was reborn anewΒ
The Knight was worried for fellow emissaries fell silentΒ
To protect the light, he fought in war so violent
It was too late, for solidary had died
Tainted by silence in the silver kingdom he arrived
He and the Silver king had nurtured a tree
Sacrifice which set the world freeΒ
The Silver King promised his partner to stay silentΒ
Always guarding secrets, always compliantΒ
For thousands of years the King lived lonelyΒ
But when a flower bloomed, again he bonded closelyΒ
When darkness arose, sacrifices were made
The Silver king died, in honor and in aid
Two Knowledgeable Kings lived and diedΒ
The Silver blessed with love and Golden cursed with prideΒ
One Good, One Evil both lonely yet despiteΒ Β Β
Thanks to their stories, the world was brought to lightΒ
βThe Golden king became the Golden rule:Β
Do as to others what they have done to youΒ
So rightfully the Silver foolΒ
Will be buried for eternity along with everything untrue!β
