Chaz forced himself to relax and focus on the now. Moxxie told him that he wasn't upset with him and the loan shark found himself believing it. After all they've gone though and everything his boyfriend talorated, Chaz was starting to think Moxxie was seriously keeping him around for a real long term relationship. If that was true, maybe he could drop his guard and let himself be vulnerable every once in a while.

Chaz brought his hands up to cup Moxxie’s face. “Do you know how perfect you are?” Moxxie; always forgiving, always understanding, always the one who treated him with kindness and respect when no one else did.. It was more than he deserved. “And—” he stopped to run his tongue across the roof of his mouth, trying to relive some of its dryness. “.. I love you.”

He leaned down to kiss the imp—first on the forehead, then on the lips.
