EA says the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta's contentious loot crate system was incomplete #StarWarsBattlefront2

Star Wars Battlefront 2 faced a wave of criticism last week, as players participating in the beta called out its loot box system as unfair and an example of ‘pay-to-win’ mechanics. Nihon Falcom’s JRPG Ys Seven makes the jump to PC #YsSeven

Nihon Falcom’s flashy slashy JRPG Ys Seven [official site] is now out on PC, eight years after it first arrived on the PSP. It’s largely the same game as the handheld version upscaled for bigger screens, just with a refreshed translation from the Japanese original. It should run at 60fps at a variety of resolutions and it supports both keyboard-and-mouse and controllers. The Shadow of the Colossus remake for PS4 will be an interesting project to watch, and not just because it already looks fantastic from a visual perspective. The game is being helmed by Bluepoint Games, without significant involvement of Fumito Ueda, the original director of the game.
