SO FIRST OF ALL, i absolutely LOVED the main group plotline and the finale literally almost had me crying. it was expected but still like HELL YEAH i love Will sm

Derek is a really fun addition, loved his character

ROVICKIE!!!!!! LITERALLY JUMPED AND YELLED YURI DURING EP 1 LETS GOOOO LESBIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOWKEY DIDN'T EXPECT THEM ALREADY DATING GOING INTO VOL 1 BUT GLAD THEY ARE

unsure about Hopper/El arc, seemed lowkey boring in comparison. same with the military, ESPECIALLY the military

VERY conflicted about the whole Holly in wonderland thing, honestly kind of a questionable move? mostly the overall setting, like i'm watching stranger things not avatar idk. glad Max is back but again, this whole plotline looks like from an entirely different show 😭

now for the part we've all been waiting for... kinda went a whole 180 from eps 2-3 to 4 because (i know this has been talked about a million times already for the past 12 hours), but WHY mention Tammy when talking about Will accepting himsef?? 😭😭 considering that i've literally never felt so sure after Will specifically asked Robin abt how she knew that Vickie was "the one"? AND how she said about the shared looks, lingering touches and all that? like what else is that supposed to be referring to?? in general, i'm torn between insane doubt and "never been so sure in my life"

also, when/if byler IS endgame, i REALLY hope we get Mike's POV from now on. i NEED his internalized homophobia to be adressed in a way the GA catches. kind of like the "i know your dirty little secret" type of thing with Mike and Vecna, cuz the entirety of vol 1 has been exclusively focusing on Will's feelings and that's really worrying me so yeah

in hindsight, i feel like that's all just my intrusive thoughts talking and we've actually never been so close to winning as we are now, so BYLER ENDGAME AND DON'T GET THE DOUBT GET TO YOU. i used to pray for times like this and now it's making me nervous right before the endgame so some doubt cure would be appreciated 🙏🙏
