Flirting with Death is a 18+ Otome-like action dark romance in the form of an interactive fiction. The game focus will be mostly into character and relationships development, exploring how you interact with the world and the reactions to your decisions.​

Take charge of Eris, a newly (and forcibly) inducted operative of a shadowy organization, as she enters a world way more twisted from what she is already used to. 

The game will be released chapter by chapter and it will be entirely free after completion!

You died. For all your life, you have been making bad decisions after bad decisions and this time your luck ran out. During your years working with the wrong side of the law you had seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. What you never expected was that your choices would take you into a maze of lies and backstabbing capable to bring countries to their knee. Something big is happening and you are not in the small leagues anymore. To bring down titans you will have to ally yourself with the shady HADES Project, a group with dubious objectives and even more dubious reasons. In a race against time you will have to do the unthinkable before it is too late. There is no right or wrong in this game and the stake is your second chance in life. The clock is ticking. Grab your power suit. Gather your allies. And remember: Trust no one.

The strange thing is: this fic appears to be related to the 'Saw' franchise? Which- unless I'm very out of the loop- Mr. Gaiman has nothing to do with. Very strange for such a link to be shared.

Regardless, here, have a bullet point list:

♤ Legal reasons:

If he looks at/reads any headcanons or fanfics, or even fan theories, he could be accused of taking the ideas and using them for himself. This could result in him being sued for taking the ideas. Avoiding fan works as a whole is the only safe way to circumvent this.

♡ Personal reasons:

Look. It's simple. Our minds are wild. They can go anywhere, anyplace, anytime. Now, while he has been fully supportive of the creative process that the worlds he's created have inspired, he does not want to know. Believe me. He doesn't. Do you really want to imagine your favourite character that you've created, or one that embodies some secret part of you, in any other way but the way you've imagined them? I would equate it to watching a movie rendition of a book you've really loved. Sometimes it's a beautiful interpretation, sometimes it's so horrifyingly unlike what you imagined that the character is ruined for you forever. Either way, not everyone wants to see that, preferring to leave it to the power of imagination (insert Gene Wilder reference here).

I'm probably missing something, but I hope I covered the basics.

I will say that I come across posts daily that threaten the readers, i.e. 'If you share this can theory/fic, etc. with Neil Gaiman you may wake to find your toes removed' or other equally creative forms of jovial (but serious) threats. It's nice to see the fandoms doing their part, where they can.

Lastly, the amount of kindness and acceptance we get from Mr. Gaiman about the ways we interpret his world is so abundant that I should hope we can take to heart that he is fully accepting of what is talked about and created; as long as he doesn't know about it. It's a simple boundary to impose and the least we can do is respect it.

O.P., I hope this is clear. You may not have known, so I just wanted to explain it. I don't want you to feel attacked by this, so I'm hoping it comes across as mattter-of-factly as possible. We don't need to be hurt any more than our mistakes already hurt us.

1. As this whole post demonstrated, don't send Neil fanfiction or your theories. He supports fan created content, but legally cannot and also does not wish to interact with it.

2. Don't ask Neil questions about the third season plot Good Omens or its ending. It's a pointless endeavour that clogs up his askbox. Wait and see.

3. Don't send the same ask repeatedly. Again, it clogs up his inbox, which is already overflowing. He answers questions when he can and as much as he can, and there are a lot of questions which will go unanswered. Don't make his job harder.

4. Before you ask questions about Good Omens that are not covered by point 1 and 2, go and read @orpiknight's FAQs that are pinned at the top of his blog. Vel has does an amazing job of gathered asks that Neil has already answered, and it is neatly structured and extremely easy to read through and also search for specific things. Check if your question has already been answered there, not only will it help Neil's inbox, but you'll also have a faster and guaranteed way of getting the answer you need :)

5. Be respectful like you should to anyone on the internet, Neil is a human being and not a machine spitting out content for us to consume.

(Also while we're here, Neil wasn't the one making plot decisions on the Dead Boy Detectives show, he is not the showrunner, so if your ask relates to the nitty-gritties of that you may wanna try other sources)
