Saturn’s opinion on these subjects change depending if Cyrus is still around or is no longer around. When Cyrus was around? Saturn viewed Cyrus as a great leader, someone to look up to, someone to please, someone to do better for. He wanted nothing, but to follow through with Cyrus’ plan of action, even if he didn’t know the entire scale of it all (which involved wiping out this universe in the ideal end). He would only wish to improve Team Galactic for the better... To be more efficient, to be more intimidating, and so on just to make Master Cyrus proud.

However, when Cyrus is no longer around to supervise the Commander? Saturn views Cyrus as someone... Odd and strange. Someone he still looks up to in some aspects, but not all. A small part of Saturn still wants Cyrus back, - if he is still alive - but most of him believes he can do without. He’s been productive as the CEO, controlling most of the energy around the Sinnoh Region with Galactic Industries under his control. He has a mostly firm belief he’s better off without Cyrus to grow as a person, to not focus on improving or succeeding for others other than himself.

aloe: how does your muse handle grief?

Talking about the person / thing they lost helps them handle grief. If it was a person they’re grieving, they tend to remember the great things they did, but also remember the flaws of the person. They’d then end up comparing themself in the negative aspect, talking to themself about how great they are in comparison - like with Cyrus. Eventually, the subject of talking about the thing they loss fades out in frequency with time, before years pass and it wasn’t brought up once. Saturn doesn’t forget what they lose, but it doesn’t mean they will fall to the heavy feeling of loss since they know how to deal with the subject, healthily.

iris: if your muse could convey one last message to someone they have lost or left behind, what would it be?

Saturn considers Cyrus gone, dead even. They don’t believe the man could’ve survived the Distortion World for years upon years... They don’t know much about the dimension, but don’t plan on researching further into it. Though, one last message to Cyrus would be along the lines of...

“Stay where you are and remain rested. I’ve grown much more as a person in your departure. I don’t need a guide any more. Though, I will make sure your name isn’t forgotten, even if Galactic wouldn’t be where it is today without me.”

They’d prefer if Cyrus didn’t return because of the whole case of him being assumed dead... What happens to Galactic Industries if he were to return? It’d likely go back under Cyrus’ control - if he didn’t get life in prison. Saturn views that they’ve grown as a person more than they did back then, even if they are still craving the same feeling of success they got when they were 16. They made sure the wording - if ever uncovered by anyone else - would present themself as confident because they couldn’t let anyone see the side of them that’d ruin their image.

In reality, Saturn did look up to Cyrus in an almost parental type of role. If Cyrus did return... Well, it’d be a rather emotional scene, just like Cyrus’ initial disappearance at Spear Pillar.

mint: does your muse view themself as virtuous & moral? what do these words mean to them?

In no regards does Saturn view themself as a person with good morals. They push morals aside when it comes to getting tasks done, no matter what it might cost in the end. Morals and virtues have no real value in a world that revolves around money, trade, and energy. Though, even though they don’t view themself as a person with good morality, doesn’t mean they believe they shouldn’t be looked up to. They believe they’re a great role model for those who want to get somewhere in the world.

Virtuous and moral are words with broad meaning in Saturn’s eyes. Its definition changes depends on who you ask. Though if Saturn were to give their literal definition than some roundabout answer like that, they’d reply with....

Dahlia’s never the type to admit to stuff she’s not willing to do. Needless to say she’ll take any risk... Unless its risking the safety of many people. An upwards of ten or more people would need to be at risk for her to not take the risk. Its a general statement sure, but she doesn’t think so much about what’s on the line unless it comes to something like that. She thinks much more about the winnings she could have instead.

“River’s gettin’ close, yea? If ya listen close you can kinda hear it!” 

Tugging at the pale-green scarf loosely draped around the teenager’s neck, Palmer’s hand moved up to run his fingers through his mess of blonde hair, before he hooked his thumbs behind the straps of his backpack, toothy grin ever-present on his face. Kricketot chirps and Starly calls could be heard from the bushes around them and treetops above them, mixing with the occasional sound of Palmer’s laughter as they walked. “We get there, we get those river rocks for Mr. Parsley’s earth science, we haul ‘em back, and we’re both gonna get 100′s on this assignment!” Quick footfalls were plenty audible as faded-yellow sneakers dragged along gritty dirt and kicked aside pebbles on the forested path. “100′s, By! One hun-duh-red! That’ll bring my grade up from a ‘B’ to an ‘A-minus’!” Well, hopefully it would.

“AND, and, I know you’re a pretty rockin’ kinda guy, so you’ll be the one to pick out the… er… the rockiest rocks you can find!” Smooth

Palmer’s smile was wide as he picked up his pace ever so slightly, and he was careful not to trip over any roots that jutted out of the overgrown trail as his legs brushed against leafy bushes that crowded the path.

He turned to face his friend as he rounded a corner, readjusting his scarf with his left hand. ”And By, I can ab-so-lutely assure you that these rocks, well, they rock, my man! They rock just like you d-”

The moment his gaze returned to the path in front of him, it felt as if his heart had skipped a beat.

An arm was instinctively extended next to him, a signal for Byron to stop right where he stood - a signal that he’d hopefully listen to. In this moment, all Palmer could hear was his heart’s rapid thumping in his chest. 

“Ah bloody-” 

It was tiny.

It was alone.

And Palmer knew what that meant.

And he could feel his anxiety spike. He kept his eyes directly on the furred creature that had taken up residence in the center of the trail, and he absolutely regretted not having kept his eyes dead-focused on the path the whole time.

Sheepish smile, a glance over to Byron, and Palmer started to slooowly back away from the tiny thing - maybe he looked like a coward being so clearly afraid of this tiny Pokémon, he wasn’t sure, but right now he didn’t care about that in the slightest. He didn’t even bother reaching for his Poké Ball in his pocket - he knew better than to pick a fight with a wild Teddiursa cub. Palmer wanted out of here, and hopefully Byron didn’t have other plans.

Joining Palmer on this little expedition to a nearby river, Byron couldn't help but find himself distracted. He knew that they needed to focus on finding river rocks to get a good grade on this.. What was it? A project? Yeah, that made sense - to him at least. Not like it mattered much to him, in all honesty. He was failing the class currently, but he didn't care all too much. He wanted to take the class to mainly spend time with Palmer and - with his luck - Byron ended up in the same period as the other teen!

"Uh, huh. Hundreds'd be nice.." He was slightly zoning out, mainly focusing on Palmer's figure ahead of him, tuning out the world around him... Which also unfortunately included Palmer. Though, soon, Byron'd perk up when Palmer turned around to face him, should he ask? Oh, no. Not right now. The topic's still about river rocks; Palmer's still on about the rocks.

Though as soon as his attention was caught, that focus would vanish, noting that Palmer had turned back around again. He wouldn't even notice the signal, looking to the ground and kicking up a rock, causing it to fly past Palmer, as he bumped into the back of the other teen. Byron would stumble over to the right of Palmer, nearly falling over.

He'd almost swear if it weren't for the fact that Palmer grabbed his attention. Byron would look ahead and tilt his head, scratching under his chin,"Wha's th' probl..." Directing his gaze down slowly, he'd snicker lightly seeing the small Teddiursa cub,"Aw Palmie. Ya' don' have t' be 'fraid o' a lil' cub like tha'!"

He'd laugh a bit more before walking ahead of Palmer rotating his neck and shoulders,"Besides! If its ma's 'round.. Ursarings 're _great_ t' wrestle!" Byron would fake out a little scare towards the cub, breathing out a breathy "roar". Impulse certainly got the best of him, but he didn't entirely care about what would happen! It was fun in the moment after all!

There would be a smug expression on the ex-chairman’s face, noticing that his phone’s notifications were going off rather quickly. He knew that this would come back around to haunt her and he couldn’t help but laugh about it. Rose would enjoy what situation Oxford had made right now, but he couldn’t exactly let the Skitty out of the bag right now.
