"Manifestation of the Wheel of Fortune" tarot reading ⌠pick a pile âŚ
Pick that one you feel connected to. You can choose both if you feel so â itâs absolutely fine!
Disclaimer: Do not read this post if the preamble does not resonate with you. You do not have to finish reading if the information does not intersect with your life in any way â do not take on anything unnecessarily.
Please keep in mind: this is a general reading. It's not for entertainment, it's meant to immerse you into the things you might be hiding from yourself. However, it does not replace professional psychological help.
For personal readings, you can find all the information here.
Preamble (important to read for both options):
Often, we ask the Universe to send us a sign, a hint, to show us the right path. But the Universe will not throw signs directly in our face, it will not guide us along any path against our will, even if that path is the best of all. We can become fixated on expecting something literal, forgetting that the Universe speaks to us through metaphors and symbols. And so, we miss countless opportunities â the very ones we asked for.
If this topic resonates with you and it aligns with your current life circumstances, then with this reading, I want to bring you back into a state of presence, where we don't chase signs and don't turn every small detail into paranoia like "Was that a sign or not? Did I understand it correctly, or did I just make it up?" In this state, we learn to trust the space around us, to notice what is already here, and what is already coming into our lives.
In this reading, I will explore questions such as: âWhat opportunities are you overlooking? Why arenât you noticing them? What is important to do so that you donât miss them?â
In essence, you are missing the opportunity to start over. You may be clinging to the ruins of the past: whether it's an old relationship where no love remains, or a job that doesn't allow you to fully express yourself. When trying to begin something new, fear may arise, that sounds like âIt's too late for me to try something new. By the time I figure it out, a lot of time will have passed. If I'm not perfect right now â there's no point in even starting.âYou may be afraid to place yourself in the role of a page, a student â someone who is only just beginning their path â because you understand that acknowledging the need for that role would strip you of your familiar âshell.â The one you never leave, but which gives you the feeling that you already know enough about this world, that you donât need to grow any further.
This moment reminds me of Brodsky's poem âDon't Leave Your Room...â and the inner conflict of the protagonist in Dostoevsky's âWhite Nightsâ â a man who lives in his fantasies, sometimes steps out of them, and then realizes that his actual reality hasn't changed at all. I strongly recommend reading both of these works, especially since they are short, yet they draw you into deep reflection.
I don't want you to feel guilty, because I know that each of you has your own reasons for "not leaving the room." But reality teaches us that time moves forward regardless. We will still end up at some specific point in our future, and that future will become our present. So maybe it's worth giving yourself a chance to be a student now â one who makes mistakes and gathers all kinds of experience â so that you can become a master in the future? Maybe that would be even better than still reaching that future and realizing that, because you were afraid to take a risk and step into the unknown without guarantees, you remained a page after all?
I don't see the cards pointing to any specific missed opportunity here, but what is clearly expressed is the act of depriving yourself of life experience altogether. What that means specifically for you â only you know. But to give an example: it could mean depriving yourself of the chance to try building a relationship with someone you like, because you had a bad experience before and believe this time will be exactly the same. Or you've discovered a field you genuinely want to grow in, but you look at the amount of knowledge you'd have to acquire and think you just won't be able to handle it. I say "you deprive yourselves" deliberately, because your unconscious really does pull you toward new experience, but you sabotage yourself with this fear.
I want to point out that fear is also connected to the thought that suddenly, as a student, you will have to carry the full weight of experience that only a professional can handle. But no â that won't happen. Life doesn't require us to understand everything at once, or to immediately fulfill our life purpose, or to marry someone we just met yesterday. A human being doesn't learn to speak right after birth. A tree doesn't bear fruit as a sapling. You don't need to know beyond your level, but that doesn't mean there's nowhere left to grow.
Without idealization or embellishment: the cards show that in order to learn how to receive opportunities and actually use them, you need to fully recognize and feel this state of lack in your life. To realize that the absence of a certain resource brings you nothing but dissatisfaction; that by staying where you are right now, you are not fulfilling your potential, your genuine desires, or your authentic will.
However it happens, growth happens precisely in such painful breaking points. We won't grow in a garden of paradise, where fruits hang above our heads and we don't even have to make any personal effort. Growth will only begin when we understand that in order to stay within our fantasies, our seclusion, our scorched earth, we are sacrificing our entire being, betraying our own soul, which came into this world to know love and gather experience of personal fulfillment.
Don't run anywhere right now. There's no need to throw yourself into everything at once. Try not to hide in your thoughts, fantasies, or routine. Try to sit with yourself in that silence. And only in that silence will you be able to recognize the voice of your soul â the one that genuinely wants to explore life.
For your group, I took two working decks, and both of them â on the question of whether the information for your option would come through â gave me the Seven of Wands. You guys are currently in a defensive position and not very open to receiving new information, from what I can see. What's interesting is that this strongly correlates with the topic of the reading: by perceiving any outside perspective, any other person's opinion, any new way of seeing the situation as an attempt to break your wholeness, you end up missing the very opportunities you need. You're taking a defensive stance, and you may be quite aggressively protecting your personal boundaries right now. You have your reasons for this, but the situation ends up looking like this: you ask the Universe to give you new opportunities, and when the Universe starts shaping them around you, you cut them off at the root, because you see them as a threat to your wholeness.
I suggest shifting the focus to why you're taking this position in the first place.
You find it very difficult to accept help. You may have gone through situations where asking for help felt dangerous, or humiliating, or simply there was no one to turn to. Over time, you might have convinced yourself that you donât need anyone, that you can handle everything alone. You may not believe that someone would want to help you selflessly, that they wouldnât ask you back tenfold.
You clearly see what you want from life, what kind of purpose you want to fulfill â yet you choose the hardest path: walking that road alone. Not because there are no people who share your ideas. Not because some people might find your goals âtoo strange, too huge, too⌠tooâŚâ But because you push away those who could look at your ideas from a different angle, and in doing so, enrich both the ideas themselves and the ways of bringing them to life. And so it seems to you that you remain alone, misunderstood and unrecognized, and that is why you carry every burden on your own shoulders.
Of course, you can achieve your goals on your own, relying only on yourself. But if you need to expand your possibilities â or if, for example, your goal is to realize yourself within society â then without connections, without accepting help, without other people's perspectives, it will be incredibly difficult.
I'm not even going to try to convince you that encountering someone else's worldview doesn't always mean an attack on your wholeness. Because when we're in a defensive position, it's hard to imagine that not the entire world wishes us harm. But I suggest loosening your defenses just a little. Try to pause right now and consider that within yourself â as within each of us â there are both strengths and weaknesses. This doesn't mean that weaknesses are necessarily bad, or that you need to harden yourself to the point of eradicating them completely. That is simply impossible. Besides, our duality is our given nature, which, by the way, manifests not only in the "strength-weakness" dichotomy.
The nature of anything is undivided at its core. It separates into dualities so that one part can come to know itself through the other. At the same time, they remain parts of a single whole. So a person cannot be only strong or only weak, only good or only bad. We are whole through all of our components. You wouldn't be able to be strong if you didn't have weaknesses. You are whole precisely because you hold both sides of yourself, all of your feelings, and someone else's opinion simply cannot cause a split in your wholeness. On the contrary, by understanding all our sides, we can build connections with others where your weaknesses are complemented by their strengths â and vice versa, theirs by yours. This is the very same wholeness, only now on an interpersonal level.
I'm not sure if this example will resonate with you, but it is worth mentioning: in childhood, when a child experiences the neglect of their feelings by their parents, they learn a pattern of behavior in which they impose a ban on their own feelings. In this way, the child protects themselves from the pain that such situations bring. But a person cannot feel only one spectrum of emotions. By denying ourselves the right to feel pain, we also cut ourselves off from the ability to feel joy and love. The person dissociates from their feelings and stops living in their body. Please â if this point does not resonate with you, do not diagnose yourselves (especially based on general readings). But if you recognize yourself in this, Iâd really encourage you to speak to a professional psychologist about this. They can gently help you reclaim your inner right to feel joy in life and build an inner foundation that will allow you to experience pain without drowning in it.
To give a dry answer to the question from the preamble: you are missing the opportunity for rapid growth and fast achievement of your goals. This would only become possible through the union of reason and feeling, the rational and the irrational, the light and the shadow, the strong and the weak, the good and the bad, the right and the wrong â and ultimately, through the union between you and those who open up new perspectives on your own possibilities, rather than those who simply agree with you on everything.
Your situation doesn't make you wrong, it simply reveals another facet of your whole life picture.
