i woke up in a bad mood, and decided to go to newport beach at 9:30am. i think i was maybe trying to escape how I was feeling... so newport? lol. well i got to newport and for some reason i listened to this podcast that was about confidence..and honestly i think it really changed my whole perception on how i’ve been thinking and my thought process in general/coping mechanisms that i use in my daily life.

so i decided i was going to take myself on a date! <- which i have never ever done before!

i walked myself to the nearest sushi restaurant and it was going to open in 5 mins..thank god honestly..lol.

by this point i was so hungry and i think excited to take myself on a date…it was really the first time in such a long time that i did something like that for myself without anyone. i sat down and i ordered everything i wanted, it was just so amazing, idk..the feeling of being independent and giving myself love like that. i had time to just let my mind wander as i looked around at the walls in the restaurant and the sushi in front of me at the sushi bar where i was sat alone and for the first time in a long while..i felt really peaceful!!
