Connor/Ilya as "The Fallen Angel"
@crossnecklace you need to see this
we're gonna get through this. and we're gonna get through it together.
One of life's great ironies is that almost everyone who makes the active decision to not have kids would probably be way better at raising a child than all the people who just kind of have children because it's what they think everyone is supposed to do
Like genuinely if you're like "I don't want kids because of the financial strain/the commitment/the irritation I would feel/the possibility of traumatizing them/whatever reason" you instantly demonstrate to me that you 1) understand the realities of parenthood and 2) believe that children should be treated with at least a base level of respect and compassion. Meanwhile everyone who's like "I want kids because I don't want to be alone" "I can't wait to dress up my babies" "I won't raise my children to be soft" may as well be talking about Neopets for all the fucks they seem to give about kids
they should make a version of socializing that doesnāt make you feel like youāre still the weird 12 year old kid that doesnāt know why sheās not normal like the other kids

missing my personal close friend Peter Parker
Just saw the sexiest person (me) on my way home (saw my reflection in a car)
Had my very first therapy session today. She said I needed an exorcism.

The beauty of a Ravenās feathersš¦āā¬š¤
haaate when i actually find advertisements funny. makes me feel dirty . makes me feel impure
This scene had my jaw ON THE FLOOR, and the GREEN GOBLIN SETUP?!? PEAAAK!
I understand why this immediately got renewed for two more seasonsāthe little details within the storytelling are meticulously woven together!
But also, I think that the animation here is raw and absolutely stunning, especially with the inclusion of blood, which is a bold move for a Spider-Man animated series. It adds a whole new layer of intensity and realism, making the stakes feel higher than ever. This sequence was so well made, literally reminded of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man too!
The action sequences are beautifully choreographed, with fluid motion, dynamic camera angles, and weighty impacts. Every punch, web-swing, and dodge is visually striking, making the fight scenes feel raw and visceral. The lighting and color palette also enhance the tension, creating a cinematic atmosphere.
What truly makes this jaw-dropping is how it pushes boundaries. Spider-Man has always been about balancing heroism with personal struggles, and this scene doesn't shy away from showing the consequences of battle. The inclusion of blood signals a shift in tone, acknowledging the brutal reality of Spideyās world while maintaining that iconic comic-book style.
Seeing Peter battered and bruised in this scene is absolutely gut-wrenching. Itās one thing to watch Spider-Man take hits in battle, but seeing actual bloodācuts, bruises, and the sheer exhaustion on his faceāadds a whole new level of emotional weight. Itās rare for animated versions of Spider-Man to show him this physically broken, and it makes the fight feel far more intense and personal.
This version of Peter feels more vulnerable, more human. Heās not just the wisecracking hero swinging through the city; heās a young man pushing himself beyond his limits, getting hurt, and still refusing to back down. The visual storytelling here is incredibleāhis torn suit, the blood dripping from his face, the way he struggles to get back up. Itās a reminder that Spider-Manās greatest strength isnāt his powers, but his resilience.
Emotionally, this scene hits hard. It evokes that classic Spider-Man No More feelingāthe idea that being a hero comes at a terrible cost. It makes you worry for him, root for him, and feel the weight of his struggles. This is what makes Spider-Man different from other heroesāhe gets beaten down, but he always gets back up.
This is truly peak Spider-Man storytellingāgritty, emotional, and visually breathtaking. If the series keeps up this level of quality, it might just set a new standard for animated superhero shows!
The cruelty of racist white men.
Does anyone else remember when Elon was like "if anyone knows how to end world hunger for 6 billion USD, I'll fund it" and UNICEF was like "we're going to spend a month to make a plan to end world hunger for 6 billion USD and Elon is going to fund it" and Elon was like "actually, nah" and then bought Twitter instead?
I think that was one of the worst things I'll ever see in my life.
I still think that should be the thing for which he's the most famous. It should be brought up every time he's mentioned. In any news article, any interview, any history book. "Elon Musk, who was offered a chance to end world hunger and turned it down." Put it on his fucking gravestone.

seeing straight men be disgusted by booktok smut recommenders has actually radicalized me to the side of booktok smut recommenders. girls your taste may be atrocious but i will never disparage you for exposing mainstream discourse to the concept of soaking through your underwear. spent my whole life listening to men talk about penises itās about time they get jumpscared by women talking about pussy in crude detail on social media. go forth and goon my warriors
