If you're on Twitch still and monetised and got the hardware for it, I recommend you use your stream key in both platforms for a while. That way you can grow your audience on one channel while your first one keeps the lights on.

YouTube is easier than Twitch, you might even say it is quite lacking in moderation, tracking and streaming features — but in many other ways it's much better. Your streams won't disappear and you can archive your creations forever. You can also customise your own membership tiers in the a way Twitch does not allow you to.

YouTube is also making moves to become a sort of Everything platform, so if you have Shorts/Reels/Tiktok style videos, you can host them as well as streams and actual videos all in one place!

My honest thoughts is that YouTube makes you work harder for bigger rewards, but ultimately it gives you more features and more tools that might work for youto be a better creator in the long run. Try it and see if you like it!
