when are people going to learn that lesbian and bisexual are different labels for a reason. they are not interchangeable terms, so why are they using them as such? non lesbian sapphics throwing around the word lesbian in regards to themselves is so harmful to actual lesbians, they’re trying to redefine what it means to be a lesbian to include men. what i don’t understand is that they can use the words sapphic or wlw, but they refuse to and only say lesbian. more often than not they’re usually the first to claim biphobia too, whilst saying blatantly lesbophobic things. if you are capable of being attracted to men, then you are not a lesbian and shouldn’t be saying so. nothing “lesbian” will ever happen to you because you’re not a lesbian, the term sapphic is right there. stop infiltrating a label that doesn’t apply to you, it’s okay to be bi. it’s not okay to water down an identity that is already not taken seriously.
