Chapter 11 is really going to be one of those chapters that you need to read while in a decent headspace, it's getting pretty heavy? At least for me, if you see the title of the chapter you'll immediately understand why.

I need everybody to know that the segment about Abaddon falling asleep was actually not in the outline, and something I had been stewing on while taking breaks in between writing the chapter, and in the middle of writing it I realized that it perfectly paralleled the fact that in chapter one/Midnight Gatherings we learn that Abaddon patrols the Freelings' rooms at night to ensure their safety.

As soon as I came to this conclusion, in the MIDDLE of writing this sentence, my hands left my keyboard, and I had to keep myself from crying, he's finally allowing others to "keep him safe" in the same way that he did, I'm sick. I'm also very normal about writing parallels, and this is the only one that will ever show up, mhm.
