I personally hate when x men writers make him mean/ cold/ violent/ or just a bad person in general. his writing is better when thou have the contrast of being large and intimidating, with a soft, caring personality. Thats also why him being an artist is important for his character, he has a hobby that focuses on details, and gentleness. On that note him being more of a tank/shield type plays into this. The desire to protect who he loves, not to simply harm who he doesn’t. Also his sister being someone who doesn’t look dangerous, but being less nice than her brother, and also traumatized, and also being the queen of limbo and having demons, adds to this contrast. She’s still a good person, just not as gentle as her brother. anyways I hope this at least kinda made sense.

also btw yes Ik he’s a pedo in some comics but keep in mind he was written by a guy who also made Superman, Spider-Man, and reed richards all pedos. (Also that same writer (john byrne🤮) is super pedophilic, racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic) And Colossus wasn’t the one perusing the relationship. That doesn’t defend it and to be clear I hate the versions of him that are like that but it’s context.

ok so my friend and I came up with a headcanon that Piotr’s grandma made a soup in like the 20s that was passed on through the generations. He ended up getting the soup. He adds new stuff to it every day and it progressively gets greener. He has everyone try it and most of them hate it (especially Logan). He keeps it in a big ahh cauldron with bears and stuff on it and it stays by his bed, bubbling. It’s probably fizzy and has mold, but Piotr gives it to all the x men when they’re sick. He claims it has healing properties because his grandma said so (it somehow does). Whenever they have to get up early for a mission they have to pry him away from his soup so he goes to sleep. And Kurt probably peed in it once, probably Wade too. And it probably looks like this.
