I’m currently following a tutorial for a survival shooter in Unity.

Worked on a game for a gamejam. It’s a first person stealth shooter. Working title Decoded. Worked with https://runningturtlem8.tumblr.com/ on the the level in Unity, and did some voicework for http://fountainwish.tumblr.com/ amazing intro.

It was a long but fun day.

Im training the tools i’ve learned in photoshop, by using them in a personal project. Here’s some progress shots.

We had wednesday off, so work on the Minecraft project continued thursday. We had to remove some greenery and park elements so players will be able to work out a solution to some environmental problems in the city themselves. 

Continued work on the Minecraft project. We build some derelict buildings with some of the material that will go into the new buildings, so that the players will need to harvest and clear the spots themselves. Also added some construction vehicles for detailing.

Worked on a Minecraft project. We had to remove houses and make some foundations to build on in designated spots. The fill command was a big help. We also made some toolsheds to hold building materials and tools.

We had a visit from Rådet for Sikker Trafik. We learned the 4 biggest contributors to traffic related deaths in Denmark. Speed, Inattentiveness(distraction), Lack of seatbelts and alchohol.

I expanded the asteroid spawner code to let me control how many and how fast they spawn, and how long the delay inbetween waves should be. Thereafter i made a script to destroy the explosion clones after 2 seconds so they dont clutter the scene. Then i added a scorecount and some text UI elements to tell your score, tell you if your gaem is over and if you can restart. And lastly a small addition to the gamecontroller so you can restart the game.

I made an asteroid prefab with a Destroy_on_collision script attached. The script destroys two objects with collision triggers on collision, and instantiates a prefab explosion. I also added a snippet of code that can instatiate gameobjects with a random rotation attached.

Followed another tutorial by John Malcolm on youtube. After getting the shape done, i messed about in the material editor, and render.
