I don't like premise of Spottedleaf's heart so much, but I understand that I probably need to read the book in full to complement my statement fully. But I don't like when authors make shit up only for a character that was at least in kinda gray (dark gray? lol) area to become an outright monster in such a fucked up way. And I also don't like when sensitive themes are used in this typa things, usually cause it makes situation even worse: like with Spottedleaf, there are people that say "well she was creepy towards Fireheart when he already had Sandstorm just cause of the stuff in Spottedleaf's heart!" - bro pls dont nononononono never speak again without thinking first I like when media touch on dark and uncomfortable topics, but I am not sure if it even was appropriate to include something like grooming just to flung a character into a cat hell. Thistleclaw done much already to be there, actually: the training is enough if you consider that he never felt that his unsatiable hunger for power is wrong, as his training in the dark forest. Imo that was enough for him to be there, Snowtuft or Redwillow were there cause they did want power more than to carry their loyalty and care for a Clan. I don't necessarily think that the book is bad, I just think this was a bad move from authors cause I would like serious stuff portrayed not as means to an end but as a real plot point with real thought and work put into it. Or it feels... in a poor taste? Not taken seriously enough? It is a heavy topic, as I've said already. Well you can read it like "waa waa why did they used grooming as a means to destroy a character and then the book sets a grooming victim as a groomer itself cause later in the timeline character gets weird with a kid that had crush on her??" - you can just interpret it as a whining, I cannot tell you what to do, I am not your dad. I am just yapping and having thoughts that it all looks weirder in the end and sets up grooming victim as... You know. Feels... Egh.

I don't know if I'm insane, but I've noticed twitter - also known as twitter - setting posts with artworks with pride flags as an "adult material" where nothing is explicit AT ALL, only flags are present, usually with cute sonas... Not being a conspiracy theorist buuuuuttttt... Looks... sus...
