I'm not a fan of Taryn, but sometimes I can't help but wonder how she must have felt like seeing her husband take lovers right in front of her, while ignoring her, or her waiting for him to come home for weeks, but he is almost always away. And how satisfying it must have been to watch the life leave his eyes. And that maybe this is not the first time she attacks him with a weapon-

i think its funny how some people hate taryn more than locke, cus when you think about it he even manipulated the readers into making taryn look worse than him.

Yes, but if you think about how Jude was hurt about Taryn choosing Locke NOT Locke choosing Taryn, AND she willingly helped madoc work against Jude, betraying like twice in the smapn of a few months.

locke sought out to physically harm jude and probably kill her by ambushing her with armed riders in the woods, he publicly humiliated her multiple times in twk by making her queen of mirth and his intentions with jude in the first book was unclear but he played this persona of a heroine in judes life to manipulate her into falling in love with her so he could break the relationship with her and taryn. but if jude never had a geas we wouldn’t know the full length of lockes cruelty to jude had locke picked jude of taryn… considering taryn went through the same thing by being fed faerie apple by locke. and if locke picked jude over taryn we dont know what cruel things he would’ve done to her. but lockes cruelty doesn’t only revolve around the sisters but also his own friends. he uses cardans weakness against him to humiliate cardan and he uses nicasia to hurt cardan, then hurting nicasia afterwards. its revealed in the stolen heir that locke is a ganacgh, and can make people obsessed and fall in love with him, which explains how he seduced nicasia, jude and taryn. but after jude got a geas from locke her feelings for him weren’t strong for him anymore which shows because after he betrayed her she was more hurt by her sister. after taryn kills locke she no longer feels remorse. and nicasia tries to make up her infidelity for two more books. though taryn has her faults they dont come close to lockes. because locke does this out of his own personal pleasure and enjoyment rather than taryn who believes this is her only way to survive. locke orchestrated many horrible things towards jude; which i would argue is worse than anything taryn ever did. but since lockes was killed we also dont know any of the horrible things he would’ve continued to do
