I just need to have this written somewhere with a timestamp. In Andy Lee vs Peter Quillin im picking Lee In Danny Garcia vs Lamont Peterson im picking Garcia I dont have the hubris to pick how they'll win, and i'll writeup my reasoning after the fights. But for now, it's fight night!

I'm only going to be covering the last two fights from tonight's card due to having missed the first main card and all the under-cards. My main interest was in the title card anyway so it's of no real loss to me personally. Billy Joe Saunders vs Chris Eubank Jr I have to say I knew absolutely nothing about either of these two fighters going in, so I had no particular expectations from either of them. The first 5 rounds or so Saunders practically had handed to him on a platter, I don't know what was going through Eubank's head but honestly I don't place full fault on him. His corner was dead silent, and I mean absolutely silent through the entire first half. Maybe they were cocky? I had to think they were cocky, because Saunders (while looking good) wasn't looking great out there, and especially with the performance Eubank put on towards the end (especially in the 12th) I really think this could have gone into a much closer decision than it was. Surprising to say really considering the judges seemed to think it was closer than I did, I had at least a two round advantage to Saunders but one of the judges seemed to think Eubank had a three round lead. Either way, the silence from his corner did him in I think. I think Eubank didn't realize just how far ahead he was letting Saunders get and his corner wasn't giving him the heads up they were supposed to, and by the time they started chiming in it was too late to save him without a knockout. A knockout he just wasn't getting. The Romani Traveller took it home by split decision. Dereck Chisora vs Tyson Fury The fight I was here for though admittedly perhaps moreso out of personal curiosity than I was for the fight itself. I was previously on the record as having nothing good to say about Tyson Fury. His attitude, his behavior, just put on the show of an utter fool and an utter asswipe. This changed after what looked like a classic Fury twitter meltdown turned into a bit of a revelation regarding Frank Warren's involvement with Fury's poor behavior, I was curious as to how Fury would behave now that he claimed to be giving up the pretense of being an utter dickhead. He had kept behavior civil leading up to the fight from that point onward, and I wanted to see how he'd handle himself come fight night. And he handled himself splendidly both in and out of the ring. To call this fight one sided would be the understatement of the century. After an exciting clash between these two back in 2011 it was expected that the two now much more experienced and much more in-shape fighters would be putting on the show to end all shows. Instead it was a complete and utter washout with Fury taking all 10 rounds without even the slightest sign of struggle before Chisora's corner finally showed some mercy for the poor soul and called the fight. I'm not going to go much into Chisora's handling of the fight From the get-go he looked like he really didn't want to be there, and he plodded along at a sluggish pace trying to get his hands in there -sometimes- when he managed to get close, but the taller and lankier Fury had him at his mercy the entire time. He tried, but as Eddie Chambers said during the commentary this isn't a game, nobody's going to sit back and let you take your turn. You either go in there and you give him hell or you'll be standing back while he slaps you back and forth across the ring, which is what happened. The real noteworthy performance here was Fury, who in the past has been rather erratic in his handling of fights and his formerly shown cocky nature has resulted in being wobbled by hits he could've otherwise dodged. This was not the case tonight, as Fury was calm, collected, in control, and eerily Klitschko esq in his handling of the fight. Snapping back and forth between orthodox and southpaw the entire fight, Fury's jab was his weapon of choice and he really didn't need much else to win himself a dominant TKO between the 10th and 11th rounds. I still don't place him in the same league as Klitschko, and if the two ever come together in the ring I pin the Ukranian Champ as the winner easily and without question. But I gotta say I was impressed with Fury's performance tonight even if the crowd wasn't with the lack of action. As with Klitschko, I don't need a knockout to see a fight done right, and Fury did right by me.

That gives me a bit more hope here.
