This is our case for getting a drink

Amid the sounds of bombings and the colors of destruction, a small Palestinian family lives in Gaza, seeking hope in the midst of darkness. This is my family's story, which I tell for my children, dreaming of a safe life and a better future.

Currently, after being displaced for the eighth time, we live in a crowded neighborhood in Deir al-Balah, where we hear the sounds of warplanes and missiles daily. There is no longer a safe place for children to play or study. We live in constant fear that the bombing might hit us or that we might lose a loved one in an instant.

My children, like all children, dream of a normal life, playing in the park and going to school without fear. But the harsh reality deprives them of their most basic rights. They sleep to the sounds of explosions and wake up to scenes of destruction.

In the midst of this despair, we still have hope. Hope that we will find a safe place where we can start anew. We want to provide our children with a life free from fear, where they can go to school, play freely, and sleep peacefully.

Today, we turn to you, asking for your help. We need support to be able to escape this destructive situation and secure a better future for our children. Your donations will help us cover the costs of travel and accommodation in a safe place so we can rebuild our lives away from war and fear.

The conditions we live under in Gaza are extremely difficult, and the suffering of the people is immense due to the complex security situation. Talking about death and the daily dangers faced by the residents reflects the scale of the tragedy and the psychological pressure we endure here. The hope for peace and stability is always the aspiration that everyone looks forward to, to escape this tragic cycle. When we talk about compensating my daughter, LOUR,

for her innocent childhood in this war, it requires multiple interventions from various entities to ensure the necessary support for her and other affected children. These interventions should include:

1. **Psychological and social support**: Providing psychological and social support to children affected by war to help them cope with the psychological and physical traumas they have experienced. This includes individual and group therapy and psychological rehabilitation programs.

2. **Education**: Ensuring the continuation of education for children affected by war by establishing temporary schools in conflict zones, supporting existing schools, and providing appropriate educational resources.

3. **Healthcare**: Providing necessary healthcare to affected children, including medical treatment and rehabilitation for those who have sustained injuries.

4. **Humanitarian aid**: Offering urgent humanitarian aid such as food, water, clothing, and shelter to children and their families to ensure their basic needs are met.

5. **Legal protection**: Ensuring the protection of children's rights through national and international laws and regulations that guarantee the protection of children's rights in armed conflicts.

6. **Reconstruction and development**: Working on rebuilding war-affected communities to ensure a safe and stable environment for children and their families. This includes efforts to rebuild homes, schools, healthcare facilities, and infrastructure.

The responsibility falls on governments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the international community to provide the necessary support to children affected by war, ensuring they have a dignified life and a better future.

I'm Raneem from Gaza. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart, hoping for your help in evacuating my family from the difficult circumstances they are currently facing.

Since the beginning of the war on October 7th, my family has been continuously displaced, searching for shelter wherever we can find it. Now, we are living in a very small room that barely fits three people, lacking even the most basic necessities of life. We suffer from malnutrition, with our bodies becoming frail and our weight dropping due to limited and unhealthy food.

My family's greatest fear is the possibility of another displacement under the repeated Zionist threats. Our sole goal is to ensure the safety of the family and to move from Gaza amidst this ongoing massacre.
