The unfolding global calamity caused by one deranged orange man:

· The Philippines has declared a national state of emergency, with fuel reserves so low they’ll have to curtail normal economic activity if the conflict lasts 30 more days.

· Kitchens across India have stopped serving hot food, and protests have erupted over shortages of cooking gas.

· Bangladesh is rationing fuel and has closed its universities.

· Ethiopia has placed non-essential government employees on leave and asked state-owned enterprises to do the same.

· Sri Lanka has cut public services and is rationing fuel, in addition to imposing a four-day workweek.

· Thai farmers are unable to buy diesel to tend to and harvest crops, imperiling the country’s rice, sugar and fishing industries.

· Skyrocketing fertilizer costs, also due to Trump’s war, threaten food production — and famine — across the world.
