One of my close friends I still have from high school is currently going through an abusive situation with her family and needs help moving out! She’s been enduring a lot including recently including her mother choking her who says that ‘her word is that of God in this house’, mentally abusing her whenever she gets into a romantic relationship including racist comments about potential partners my friend may be into. They once chased off a partner she actually had a wonderful relationship with!

She’s also constantly being forced to do housework and having to watch her elder sister’s disrespectful children  (4 days out of the week and only being paid 200 a month) and being forced to do a lot of the chores in a household with 7 people, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a hamster.

It’s gotten to a point where she is using an alias for this GoFundMe account and avoiding posting it to her Facebook out of fear of her family finding it and prematurely getting kicked out of her house.

So if you could donate even a dollar to five dollars or just reblog this post to spread awareness to help her get out of her house!

So in the server I run, The Lang Center, we’re doing our newest monthly challenge and I thought it would be really fun to share it here on tumblr to involve the langblr communities.

Our new challenge, being that it’s the month of love, is messy drum roll Valentine’s day themed. 

Yes I understand that Valentine’s day is literally on the 14th day of the month, but lol, why not go all out for the shit. 

So you’re probably wondering the prompt and are burning with curiosity and anticipation. Either that or y'all can see through me lmao. 

Well let me indulge you. The prompt for the month is to write a love letter in your target language(s). It can either be to a real person or a fictional character. Indulge in the true extent of your degeneracy. 

Requirements:

Must be lovey dovey. 

Make yourself cringe, or feel your heartstrings tugging inside the cold shell you call a body. 

Must be a minimum of 150 words. I won’t be keeping track tbh, but make sure you’re really pushing yourself to hit that requirement. 

 Must end the letter with xoxo. (You really don’t, but if u do, u get a gold star from me) Anyways have fun, y'all got a month and then it’s on to the next challenge!!!

So before ye olde good February is over, get some TL practice by writing up a quick love letter your real/fictional baes whether they’ll actually ever read it or you just need to get the feelings out or even just because you wanna let Sasuke from Naruto know you’d totally be DTF if given the chance lmao.
