So I am revisiting the Twilight movies as an adult, and I just fully realized something while also thinking about Soul Bonding fanfics. We all know Soul Binding is described as an intense spiritual and emotional connection between people, and I believe it can happen with platonic soulmates too. So, what does this have to do with Twilight? Well, I’m thinking about the vampires right now. We all know Carlisle turned everyone, right? What if, when he turns, say, Esme, he feels a Soul Bind with her? Think about it more deeply — when she was a teen, she broke something, and her mother took her to Carlisle. He saw her then for the first time, and years later, when she was in the morgue, he identified her and turned her. That has to be some kind of Soul Binding, right? I could be wrong — I’ve never read the books, only seen the movies. Also, on that note, let’s consider the werewolves. Sam imprints on Emily — could that be Soul Binding? Also, though he has this kind of platonic father/son relationship with Edward, he can sense when he’s distressed or something, which is why I mentioned platonic soul binding as well.

I'm not sure if this is unpopular, but after revisiting Harry Potter, I believe Harry had every right to know what was happening in the Order of the Phoenix. Molly had no authority to decide that he shouldn't. I understand, though not entirely, why Dumbledore kept things secret 😒, and I know Molly meant well because she saw Harry as a son. However, if Harry wanted to know because it concerned him, he should have been allowed to. That said, Sirius and Molly arguing over it wasn't the right approach, but that’s just my opinion.

So what is everyone’s thoughts on Blood of Olympus? I have had the books sitting on my shelf for about 3 years now. I have read all the original Percy Jackson series when I was in 7th grade and recently reread before Season 1 of the show came out but I want to give Bloof of Olympus a shot. Any thoughts or rants on it without spoiling please.

Do you ever just sit and think about if the marauders all live and Baby/Toddler Harry starts learning to talk and which ones would have to watch their language a lot around him? I feel like Remus Lupin was the one who swore a lot and then as a joke Peter makes a swear jar so when Harry fully starts understanding words and talking and he hears one of them swear he gasps and yells swear jar.

Can someone PLEASE point me in the direction of a finished AO3 fic about the golden trio plus Ginny, Dean, Seamus, Neville, and Luna going back to complete their education but they finally just get to chill out and have fun and be teens. No drama, maybe a tad idk, but just good amounts of teenage fun rebuilding their lives after being children of a war torn world and lots of romance. Everyone I find is Drarry which isn’t bad cause I love a good Drarry slow burn but like I want a fic with them staying up late, maybe drinking? Maybe playing games just living life. PLEASE HELP A GIRL OUT!
