I don’t know if this is a good one or not but i was stuck in the middle of a crowd at a parade once and I was really dehydrated (I was hungover), and it was so bad I had to crouch down to stop feeling dizzy and a women pulled me up and gave me the last of the water she was saving. I was so grateful to her I’ve never forgotten it

While I was traveling in Vietnam, I visited an old temple complex still very much in use by the local Buddhists. I was wandering around (a little lost) and I saw some women praying in one of the tiny shrines, placing flowers and putting clothes on the statue. One of the women saw me and invited me in. I only spoke a little Vietnamese, and she only had a few words of English, but with those few words, and gentle, patient gestures, she taught me how to light the incense and pray. I sat with the women for some time, feeling peaceful, and slightly light-headed with how heavy the incense was in this tiny room. When it was time to go she gave me a fierce hug and pointed to the way out (it was obvious i didn’t know) before heading off in the opposite direction. It was so peaceful and beautiful and it was the first time i really felt any peace in a long time. It meant a lot to me.Â

I was post-op
I’d had surgery a few days before, my jaw was wired shut, and I was exhaustedly shopping for christmas gifts with my sister.  I told her that I wanted to go home, too tired to continue, so we walked very slowly and carefully towards the exit.
Well, I must have looked like shit, cause a woman working at a kiosk approached us and asked how I was doing. Â And of course, my sister was taking care of me, but that she would go out of her way to ask how I was is the kindest thing a stranger has ever done for me.

So this was just a little thing, but I guess you need stories, so. Anyways, me and my friends were at the mall, and apparently I had started my period, but I hadn't noticed yet. And it had leaked through so there was a somewhat large patch of Blood that had leaked through my pants. So some woman came up to me and told me that I had leaked, and that I could have her jacket. It wasn't like a really expensive jacket or anything, and I never saw her again, but I still remember her. :)
