Pride month isn't the month where I say I'm proud to be who I am.

It's the month where I celebrate the pride I feel for survivors, people who wonder, people who daydream, people who made things possible.

It's hard enough to draw. It's hard enough to post.

I do put alt descriptions on Bluesky if my art is about actual important things and not just random ass drawings. And it's also hard enough there.

This place and others are where i just dump my art because I don't think people appreciate it but I still get hyped if someone gives a like. IF they do. I'm glad and grateful when other people add descriptions when they put tags or they reblog, and that doesn't mean I need to go the extra millimeter (not saying the Mile because a millimeter is hard enough) to make my free content more accessible.

Hi I'm disabled too have you thought about that. Either ask nicely or don't ask at all. You're trying so hard to be inclusive that you're excluding ME. Just. Stop. I don't get paid. I don't have a job. Drawing makes me feel physical pain and yet I love making art, you're just throwing my job to the trash. "very pretty op but you didn't put a description so change it because you're a bit ableist if you don't!" I don't want you in any of my drawing dump accounts. And yes I'm calling y'all ableists. You're not treating me differently than the people who tell me to just get out of bed.

The reward I get for creating is just saying something not relevant to the creation and going away. I hope all of you go through that. Put effort and pain into something that brings you a very temporal, very fleeting sense of contentment and enough joy to share it and be hammered to the ground from the sky with a "when are you going to finish it." "Why didn't you add more salt to the salad." "Oh- a present? for me? so sweet I'll open it later!" and they'll never open it.
