"Creep" by Radiohead is in fact a shifter song.

Just listen to it from the perspective of a shifter in their DR. They're there but they start to disconnect from their form. looking around the characters from that reality. That feeling of being an imposter among beings they've long to see. That they have seen; except in a different time, and different place. One where they don't know the shifter. A place the shifter is just some fan of their media, or the creator of it.

The shifter is just some person that projected themselves into the characters' world, and the characters don't know it. The shifter is questioning themselves. Why did they shifted here? Why do they want to be here? Where once they go away; the others won't know or remember their time spent.

Then they remember. They came to spend time with them all. To have the control to change what happened to something their comforted by. The shifter imposed themselves here because THIS is where they feel whole. The place THEY are special, for the fact they even are there in the first place.

I did 7 hours of anatomy practice to draw this AI.

I do miss drawing like this though, it's really cuteT^T.
