You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It won’t happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.

You don’t drop everything to make sure i’m okay. You don’t treat me how I deserve to be treated. It took me four months to realize that you are not the one for me. Maybe in another life you are, but not this one. And while I know that you’re doing your best, I know that I deserve to be loved better.

Find someone who pays attention. Who runs their fingers over your every scar; and asks where each one came from. Find someone who knows how you like your coffee; what song makes you want to roll the windows down and slam on the gas pedal. Find someone who takes in your smallest details; who notices the things you thought no one ever would. And then…when you find them… Be their someone, too.
