Another commentary with a “hat” POV. This video features VanCon gold and the main panel.

This is VanCon and it’s in my top 5 of all time favorite J2 panels. The boys are in rare form for this con. I think part of it might have to do with the fact that Jensen had moved to Austin at this point.

10:35 - Jared helping Jensen with his first Tweet is adorable.

24:42 - J2’s faces when they say, “Let’s trade shirts!”

27:00 - Jensen talks about how they always had each other to decompress with after work.

29:10 - You can hear Tom off stage. Tom says “Hi, Dad.” and Jensen says “Hi, Thomas” and immediately has a “oh shit” look on his face afterward and then Jensen launches into a Thomas story.

29:20 - This is where it seems to me the Jensen shifts into damage control mode. He asks, “Did he say Dad or Unca Jensen?” (It was clearly dad). Then he talks about how Thomas got upset when he didn’t see Jensen in the green room. I think this story was supposed to make us forget that Jensen answered to “Dad” but for me it brought even more attention to how close they are. I just thought it was telling how close Thomas is to Jensen. To me it seemed closer than what I would consider normal for a friend and their friend’s kid. Am i reading too much into this?

 Also, watch Jared’s face when Jensen launches into this story. It seems like he has this “is he really going to tell this story” look on his face.

31:40 - Jensen being flirty with Jared while he tries to cool himself by standing over the fan they brought on stage because the boys were so hot.

33:25 - When Jared takes his turn at the fan Jensen serenades him with the song “Heaven” by Warrant which makes Jared very happy.

36:40 - The boys joking around with Jensen’s Christian Bale Batman voice. Jared calls it sexy and Jensen seems pretty please with himself.

38:20 - Jensen’s face when Thomas talks to him. So much love there.

39:53 - Jared says “I hear you buddy and I love you” to Thomas and Jensen says “I didn’t say anything.”

39:48 - Jensen standing over the fan trying to get Jared’s attention by dancing.

41:07 - Jared’s turn at the fan teasing Jensen

43:47 - While they’re signing the banners Jensen stops to dance by Jared when they’re switching sides. It’s blurry but it’s definitely Jared because of the white shirt.

I was trying to find a favorite moment, but literally every single one of these timestamps is amazing lol. This might be one of the best commentaries that you’ve sent in yet! As for 29:20 yes I agree, you can clearly hear that Tom said “Dad”. 

It’s kinda funny watching Jensen to play off his response for that
