what do they consider their worst habit?

Probably their need to collect random, often broken, objects. It’s a habit they picked up as a teen and then,,, just never stopped. A broken computer makes sense because they can scrap it for parts. A scrapbook worth of used postcards though? The pictures might be pretty- but they don’t really need them.

08: Something that makes your character laugh

what doesn't make 8 laugh, tbh. People falling over, awful puns, bad pick-up lines, the pp word, accidental eye contact with a friend while something serious is happening. Literally will laugh at the dumbest stuff, has zero self-control.

"Nah, it's no worries." Eight shrugs, waving their hand dismissively. It was only a matter of time before that guy tried something weird, and frankly, they had already been looking to kick him out of the 7-Eleven. "Freaks' been hangin' around since my shift started…"

Though, with how hard that guy fell… 'maybe… I punched too hard?' They squat down to poke him a few times, clicking their tongue in annoyance when he doesn't do much besides mutter incoherently. After a long-suffering sigh, Eight stands and turns back to the shorter woman, dark eyes squinted in what they hoped came across as a friendly-looking smile.

"Uhhh… 'scuse me for a sec'?" They grab the back of the man's shirt and begin dragging his half-conscious body down the aisle like a ragdoll, speaking over their shoulder as they move. "You can go ahead 'n put your items on the counter if you're done lookin' around."

Eight, who was just about to haul ass towards the vent they came crawling in from the moment they felt the vibration of footsteps approaching, pauses mid-movement, their body hunched over the box they'd been looting in a positing similar to that of a gargoyle. The scrape of their own flashlight slipping from its place between their fangs jolts them from their momentary stasis, a hand shooting up to catch it before the metal can clang against the concrete floor.

Squinting to see past the flashlight shining in their face, the snarl slowly drops from their lips. 'It's... just some dude?' Their arms drop too, he didn't look like a custodian or security, so he definitely shouldn't have been in the warehouse...
