I know next to nothing about PbtA conceptually, but my friend asked if GIRL FRAME combat is more Masks or Flying Circus. Where would you reckon this game falls?
I haven't read flying circus, but combat is based around damaging enemy assets by pitting them against your assets, exposing enemy cores, and maneuvering into advantageous (narrative) positions. It's crunchier than masks but still has a fairly traditional pbta cinematic approach.
