“It’s not your problem if they pass out after meeting you, is it?” He added, with a hint of dry humor. “I’m going to ask you a sincere question and you’ll give me a sincere answer.” He told her. “When was the last time you and Kiki talked in person?” He thought about all his friends, the one that he only talked to through SMS’s nowadays. “Face Time doesn’t count.”  He added. 

She laughed at his response, checking her phone as it beeped. It was her mom, asking if she was up for a late dinner with her later. She sent her a quick reply before turning her attention back to her company. "I'm not sure. It's so weird that people just kind of... fangirl over you and you have absolutely no idea who they are. Flattering but still," she stated, shrugging her shoulders. She thought about his question about Kiki for a moment, trying to recall the last time she'd talked to her blonde counterpart. "A long ass time. I've just been so busy. I mean the last time we were both out of school, she took time to come out on tour with me. It was my first tour and it was a lot easier to make time to hang out with her since we were on the road all of the time. But I haven't been focusing on music, just acting. So there's not much I can do since I'm filming all day."

He pushed away some paparazzi and walked into the bar. Chad looked around for Raine and found her at a table. He walked toward it and smiled at the sight of her face, all their fans knew that they had gone to university together and, for Chad, having an ‘old friend’ around made things a lot easier, especially because Raine was one of the people that helped him when he was just an aspiring actor. “Ms. Channing.” He said, sitting in front of the girl.

It had been months since she and Chad had graduated from Easton University and Raine had certainly recovered from the rebellious phase that had become her during what would have been her freshman year in college. After working diligently, she had managed to graduate on time with her class. Her and Kiki still spoke, but their friendship had slowly diminished over the months they spent apart. Hearing the sound of Chad's voice, she looked up and gave her friend a friendly smile. "Hello, Parker. How was filming today?" she asked. "Meet and greets are awful. They're always hot and then everyone cries and I just don't know how to appease them. I know that sounds awful but I've just never been a good comforter."
