So how the fuck would he know why Alice didn't accept canon!Daniels proposal?

He HAD to be talking about why he didn't turn canon!Daniel in the seventies.

Otherwise he literally wouldn't know.

Before this episode it just made a lot of sense, but now I literally can't see any other way for him to know
