"It's all in their head"

Last night at 8:30 my mother was finally freed from all of her pain. We may not have had the best relationship but I loved her with all of my heart and I know she did the best she could raising me with a mental illness. Love you forever, miss you always, rest peacefully mom 💔

These pigs spend up to 72 crammed into this tin can of a truck with no food or water. The temperature was over 40 when we were out there, the pigs on the second level don't even get a chance to get some water. The lovely people of Toronto Pig Save are out there every week showing these pigs love and compassion and giving them water in their final moments of life. I honestly don't know which was worse, watching these trucks come in and seeing and hearing the fear of these poor babies or watching the trucks come out empty. I am so grateful that my work allowed me the opportunity to experience this and that part of the proceeds from every charity pot purchased goes to Toronto Pig Save.
