But who decides that?

Why is right right,

How little we know,

How easily we follow.

How shallow we are.

How blind, arrogant, wasteful one can be.

Because stupidity is hilarious.

Because pain is hilarious.

Because we're so small, and act tough

But in reality, we're nothing.

Because we can't avoid death.

Or stop violence.

Or stop something, anything.

It's funny,

because we're all self absorbed.

Self centered.

Think we matter, when we don't.

One day we are born,

And the next, we die.

Then we are forgotten,

And eventually, all of us will drift away.

All our memories will mean nothing,

And will be lost to the vast universe.

And the world will outlive us all,

With no memory of us ever being there.

And it'll be our fault.

Because we are useless,

No one can escape death.

Because we think we can.
