26...don't get me started on all the ones I have half finished in the drafts, I'll go crazy (mind you I started writing in MAY)

Published: 266,437... (let's not get into unpublished words for the sake of my dwindling mental health)

did you try anything new this year? (new fandom? new pairing? new language?)

I started writing for aftg this year, so yes!

did you participate in any fests/events during the year?

yes! the AFTG fall exchange was so much fun! need to keep my eye out for more events next year

I think I get the most overwhelmingly positive feedback on blow me instead

which is the angstiest fic you have written this year?

I usually tend to stick to fluffier pursuits with happy endings (after all the angst of course), though I will say jeremy crashout fic was plenty angsty for obvious reasons

which is the steamiest fic you have written this year?

easily jerejean second chance romance. I had to build up to feeling comfortable posting my smut, but this one felt like the right time

which is your most valuable writing lesson learned this year?

as cheesy as it sounds, follow your heart! write that obscure au that you think no one will read. I promise you it'll find its audience eventually!

and also just consistency, I guess. I'm so grateful for this little community I've managed to build, and really think it's because I've been consistent in posting through the year

what do you look forward to writing next year?

some secret cowriting projects 👀 and jerejean hockey AU 🏒, which should be on its way to you early january!
