People who are in normal healthy relationships with others don’t need to feel like they are traversing a minefield to answer super simple questions about their friend—Allllll of the people that have ever participated in Taylor’s Bearding Games are making the choice to live like that over and over again. The same is true for Karlie’s situation. Living a double life requires being ok with constantly lying to others and that fucks up your nervous system and ability to relate to people normally over time

Yeah it makes me laugh a lot that people are like “well she/he said it’s not” oh ok do you expect artists to openly say “this song is me processing my feelings about how Taylor Swift is actually an insane narcissist that hurt me and tricked me” ?Would that go over well?? From the Swifties that send death threats to anyone who dares to say anything that’s not glowing praise, to Taylor’s own legal team that goes after small time Etsy creators for every single cent, on what planet would coming forward with an honest confession about Taylor be beneficial in any way to these musicians?

IMO Taylor seems to have an undiagnosed (or diagnosed and ignored) personality disorder, and without proper treatment, we can expect zero accountability, honesty, or changes in behavior from her. She would have to first recognize that there is a problem with her behavior, and then care enough about how her behavior impacts others to want to learn how to change it. Do you all see that happening, because I sure don’t. This woman told us that as one of the most famous people in the world, she has never seen a psychologist because she “just feels very sane” aka she can’t conceive of a reality where her actions and thoughts should be questioned by anyone

In summary, unless she goes on a year long sabbatical to find herself out of the spotlight, where she worked intensely with good mental health professionals, I think anything that comes out of her mouth in terms of “getting real” or apologizing in an interview would just be a different flavor of bullshit
