I like this song a lot better too, but unfortunately gracie is legit a worse singer than Taylor, like girl you got all the money from your rich multimillionaire father take some vocal lesson. i don't get why these nepo babies have all the money but choose not to do anything to improve themself. i want to Gracie concert and her song sound much better in real life then studio version. one thing also that gracis studio version always sound more dull compare to live, and she also sounds out of breath sometime. gracia is still young and have a lot of time to improve so hopefully she does something to do that. like dua lipa got hate for the way she dance. she took that hate and came back better.

Also Taylor stealing that sentence because she thought it was brilliant or cool or whatever but it’s not even used lyrically in a smooth manner it feels forced and thrown in. Gracie’s lyrics using it is effortless and feels like you are a fly on the wall of someone’s conversation with an ex or reading someone’s diary

She sounds better in folk/country.

I just listened on YouTube and my thoughts are as follows

*The song lyrics are definitely about the end of a romantic relationship which seems like the wrong vibe for Toy Story, BUT I do think this is the first time we’ve seen Taylor’s lyrics reflect acceptance in something being over. The lyrics are “I remembered I loved you” which is past tense. I read that as I finally saw you again after the break up, you came back to give me support when I needed that, and all my anger and hatred and resentment at you disappeared when I remembered oh wait I used to love this person, maybe they aren’t the devil.

*Given my opinion on Kaylor in 2026, this would be a huge step in maturity for Taylor if it reflects how she actually feels. I’m sure people that believe they are still together see this as a reunification song, but the lyrics are past tense. She’s not saying “I remembered I love you” and the other person in the song doesn’t say that either. They both use past tense which speaks to a maturity of acknowledging there were good times in the past even if we forgot that and haven’t spoken in a long time and aren’t together anymore

*She doesn’t sound bad, but it’s so hard for me to hear her now and not acknowledge that she’s an average singer at best. She’s just worlds away from people like Ariana, Beyoncé, Sabrina in terms of vocal ability

*Im sure the song will put up numbers because it’s an easy listen and the hook she yoinked from Gracie is an ear worm with how she flips up her voice
