"jagiya."

you gasp, body jolting up as your eyes flutter wide open. and as soon as you see him looking at you, all safe and sound, softly giggling even, you squish your face into the pillow in frustration.

"min," you whine, "leave me alone." huffing, you throw the blanket over your head but he pulls it away.

"i can't sleep." he announces with a pout, like it's your problem. you sigh, but then you remember that it is your problem. so you open your arms.

"come here."

"what"

"come here i said, sleep on my chest." you offer, turning to rest on your back while holding up the blanket for him to move.

minho happily obliges, getting on top of you, arms instinctively wrapping around you before he squishes his face in the crook of your neck. taking a deep breath, he sighs in content before squeezing hard, earning a gentle smack on the back.

"don't suffocate me, you rascal."

your eyes finally flutter back close when he stills, heavy with sleep as you think you're done nursing your chaotic boyfriend.

"jagiya." motherfu-

"what."

you hear him snicker at your reply, "are you annoyed " he whispers, as if he can't tell from your tone.

"yes. now sleep." your hand pats his hair in a more hurried and frustrated manner for it to be considered as an attempt to 'put him to sleep', making him giggle before he's silent again.

okay. he should be done by now.

"jagiya."

sigh. that's all you do. just a long breathy sigh as you try to collect every bit of patience in your being. but the tiny giggles that leave his lips again have your whole heart so he gets away with it. and he knows.

"... jagiya." minho calls again when you don't answer.

squeezing your eyes shut, you reply in a gentle tone this time,"what,"

"i love you" he whispers against your neck, before planting a kiss there.

you sigh again, this time because of how lovesick he's got you. you can never be upset with him because you know that's one of minho's unusual ways of showing his affection.

"i love you too, min." you kiss the top of his head because how can you not melt at that.

"now please try to get some sleep."

"okay, i'll try to." he mumbles, nuzzling your hair. "but if i can't then i'm waking you up again."
