There's tons of dudes haunting the story. Hell, Kakashi's entire purpose is to be haunted. His dad, one of the most legendary shinobi in history left him with an eternal stigma for "starting" the 3rd war(Hey dipshits, if one fuckup on a mission could spark a war, it was always going to happen). His sensei gave him both a goal to strive towards as well as his son as an eternal reminder. Obito gave him both his nindo, and his fucking EYE! that's literally the first thing people think when they see him, Kakashi of the sharingan, especially when there were previously like 100 people all with sharingan. Rin? Oh, maybe that jutsu he used to kill her becomes a big trigger for him, so maybe he has to come to terms with his trauma to use his strongest jutsu once more. No, he uses it pretty frequently, even teaches it to the one kid most likely to also stab his teammates. Maybe he has something against the sanbi or kiri? No, I don't think he even mentions any beef with either.

And it's like that with every important woman in the story

Mito, literally the first actual jinchuriki(that isn't cheating using alien gods powers) and one of the greatest seal mistresses in history. Nothing

Tsunade, the woman who literally pioneered all medical jutsu and practices. Nope, she's just "one of the sannin"

Mei Terumi, who ended one of the bloodiest genocides in shinobi history and forcibly dragged her country into a golden age. She's really sexy and obsessed with getting married and she beats up her own guard over perceived jokes about her age as a gag

Kushina doesn't even get a cool nickname, all the guys get cool shit like "Sasori of the Red Sand," "The White Fang," "The Yellow Flash," meanwhile she's the hot blooded habenero. You know, because she got angry a lot, like a woman. And also, what the fuck? Habeneros exist in Naruto, and Spanish too apparently?

Obito puts on a mask and becomes a terrorist. Kakashi puts on a mask and becomes an assassin.

Obito’s dreams of becoming Hokage at the beginning of their story. Kakashi becomes Hokage at Obito’s request at the end of their story.

I love how 90% of OBKK fandom just agreed that alive Post-war!Obito is Kakashi's ex terrorist war-criminal househusband under house arrest. Not that I complain, though. Quite the opposite, I love that idea.

I also like to think that Obito is extremely upset about Naruto healing Kakashi's left eye. And even more upset about Madara ripping his Sharingan out of Kakashi's socket. Because that was his gift to him, the one that he never wanted back but now that Kakashi has his eye back he can't return things back to normal. It was something that connected them even in the darkest times, it was a piece of that innocent Obito that his adult self wanted to anchor himself to. You know, because he lost his own identity thanks to Madara and Black Zetsu?

I like to imagine that Obito had to be blind for the rest of his life because his eyes were sealed as a part of his punishment. He could take the seal away only in cases of danger for Kakashi (which isn't a lot, considering that he can protect himself perfectly fine) or a crisis that might be resolved with power of Kamui. By the way, Kakashi lets him walk around the house without a seal sneakily. Not that anyone needs to know.

And Obito grows out his hair a bit. No particular reason for that, I just like the way his hair looks in the scene where Rin died:

Not Madara's length (that would bring bad memories back) but I believe that Uchihas really look better with slightly longer hair than average shinobi would like. His hair stays white, though. You can't just become Juubito and reverse hair color back to black after that.

As I said in previous posts, I like to think that Obito and Kakashi are constantly fighting for being bottom in their relationship. Kakashi doesn't have any specific reason for that, he just enjoys that.

Obito, however, needs to be bottom to remind himself that he doesn't need to be in control, that someone else can be trusted to be above him. Pre-war he was always top in his one night stands where he was very rough with his partners (not that there were many of them, he didn't have motivation for being with someone) because of Madara's influence. He was impersonating Madara and Madara wasn't bottom to anyone (yeah, right, no Uchiha is top in my mind but shinobi world isn't ready to accept that). Post-war he wants to be vulnerable with someone, and that someone is Kakashi.

What bothers me even more about the obkk fics is that Kakashi often becomes an little angel who has done nothing wrong in his life. The most brutal mischaracterization I've seen is when kid Obito despises and bullies kid Kakashi, who endures it like a miserable white lamb. Like... it's so UNcanon that it makes me want to cry

I don't hate obkk in general(I repeat, I don't give a shit who sticks their dick in who), and in kkob fics there are also cases of disgusting mischaracterization, but the chance of stumbling upon the fact that one of them is a demon from hell is less
