Katy is a nostalgia and collectables geek, whose heart belongs to Rainbow Brite. She loves the Rainbow Brite universe–the show, songs, books, art, etc. You name it, if it’s Rainbow Brite related, Katy loves it. She even uses Rainbow Brite as a pick-me-up, exclaiming “Whenever I’m feeling down, I hear her saying ‘Hey glumface! Look up!’ There’s always a rainbow shining somewhere.” With Katy’s passion for Rainbow Brite, it makes sense that she is the webmaster for not only RainbowBrite.net, but also RainbowBrite.org. She even has a Rainbow Brite museum in her house! As much as she loves Rainbow Brite, Katy also geeks out on He-Man, She-Ra, the 80’s, Harry Potter, and MLP: FIS. In her spare time, you can find Katy volunteering at her local animal shelter, podcasting (BriteCast and MastersCast), listening to nerd rock, or heading to another geeky convention. Katy shares her home with her geeky husband, their two cats and dachshund (they, of course, all have nerdy names: Wisp, On-X, and Skeletor).
